I was in my room, I didn't exactly know why I was trying to hide. I was just scared something crazy might happen, but that's ridiculous. Amanda wouldn't hurt anyone, she's too kind.
I went outside to the living room and peeked through the window. I saw Ruby raising her hand to Amanda's face to slap her but she stopped before she could even touch Amanda's face and I could read from her mouth she was saying 'Sorry'
I heard Amanda gave out a laugh and swung her hand to Ruby's face. It was a hard slap. Ruby touched her cheek, I could see she tried to hold back her tears but couldn't. Amanda just stared at her with no emotions whatsoever.
Before Ruby could walk away, Amanda lifted her leg and kicked Ruby in the stomach, causing Ruby to fall to the floor.
I didn't know what to do or think. Should I go outside? I was so fucking scared. Amanda was the devil all along. Ruby was trying to warn me but I pushed her away. Guilt started filling my chest. Why was I such a bitch to her? I should've atleast gave her a chance to talk before, but I didn't. I fucking didn't.
I didn't notice my face was flooded with tears. I quickly wiped my tears and went to look outside. Ruby left.
Amanda went in to unlock the door and I didn't know what to do or say to her.
"Hey!!" She greeted as if nothing happened. As if she didn't abuse my mother. What the fuck is wrong with her.
I shook my head in disgust and went into my room. I couldn't help myself but cry. I just felt so guilty for Ruby. She doesn't deserve this at all. I brought her up to this. This was all my fault.
And Amanda, why? Why did she do that to Ruby? I just didn't want to think anymore and I wanted the answers immediately, I wanted the answers straight from Amanda. I didn't care if she starts hitting me, I deserved it anyways.
I went in her room to see Amanda holding a gun. Flashbacks started hitting me. Flashbacks of the day Bea died. The day when I saw her laying on her floor. With that gun. That gun Amanda was holding was the same gun Bea had on her hand when she was dead on the floor.
