Alex: When Danny told me to take care of Adrian, my first thought was to get out of here using the secret entrance used only for emergencies. I took Adrian's hand and went in the office where we had had our first meeting. With the gun in the other hand, I opened the door hidden by the brown bricks. The door opened slowly, revealing the creatures that were waiting for us. I let down Adrian's hand and given him another pistol.
'Try not to hit me.' I said.
We managed to kill many of them, but not enough. Soon we became outnumbered. Both of us ran out of bullets and our only way to escape was to use my skills. I dropped the weapon and I had pulled from my back-pockets my weapon composed by two strings extremly sharped. I smile to them and I try to make my way into the tunnel. Bad idea. In a way or another their growing number was pushing us away.
Adrian: I had managed to kill some of them, but they kept coming back. I was wondering if we'll ever gonna get out of here. When Alex pulled out his string-weapon, a light of hope fell over me until we became extremly outnumbered and there was really no escape, except of retreating.
'I don't want to end here.' I said.
'It won't end.' He assured me and continued to move his hands in a way that managed to bring us back to the entrance of the room.
My intuition was that if we would had get up on the stairs, they would had waited for us as well. I was thinking at Nero who saved me from that big guy and the ones from the shop. Even if I would had had asked him to save us, I don't think that he could had take care of all of them. As much as we get up on the stairs, the enemies were fulling the hall.
'Push that "N" brick on your right.' Said Alex.
'What if there are many others up there?' I asked.
'Trust me!' He said.
I had pushed that brick and I see how the stairs below us are turning into a ramp. They were trying to get to us, but without luck. Somehow it was funny.
Alex: We managed to buy some time to rest, but not enough. We must figure out how to...Something powerful started to hit the hatch.
'That doesn't sound good at all.' I said looking at how the dust was getting out of the hatch.
I turned around and looked at the line of our enemies and started to wonder where the others could had been. The hits became more and more powerful and faster. The hatch won't resist that much.
I looked at Adrian and tried to figure out the connection between him and these hunters. Why would they hunt him and only him when in fact we are the rebellion who tries to destroy their plans?
'What are we going to do now?' Asked Adrian.
I had calculated my chances and I had found an idea.
'When you see the way cleared go ahead.' I said and I let myelf slipping on the ramp.
At the bottom of the ramp I had started spinning around and managed to make our way to the office right in the moment when the hatch had been destroyed completely. The office wasn't that much full as in the beginning and the secret entrance was clear to pass. We ran into the tunnel and closed the door. While the door was closing I could had seen how into the office was entering a giant guy with a black mask and holding in his hand a giant scythe. The door closed and we made our way through the tunnel. Finally we got out of that place. I had sent a message to Nero related to our meeting spot.
Nero: Our fight was tough. Each step back was very hard. We had fought valiantly, but the enemy was stronger than us. The moment I had seen the message from Alex, our hope became stronger.
"Park. Secret entrance. We OK. Hatch destroyed."
We had fought our way through the office and after a long time we managed to get there. A giant guy, who was holding a scythe was trying to break the secret wall. Danny tried to shoot him, but with no effect. His skin was too resistant. The executioner - as we called him, was waving his scythe with agility. We dodged all of them. I tried to find his weak spots. None of them and my eyes started to hurt from...wait. That's it!
'Danny, aim for the eyes!' I shouted.
Danny fired two shots and blood came out from both of his eyes. The executioner screamed of pain. Using this chance, Alia thrown me up enough to stab my sword in his eye orbit. Rising the blade I had splitted his head. The scythe fell with power and the executioner fell on his back. His minions got scared seeing this scene and ran away. I checked his body and I had seen the same thing. The hexagon symbol. Just like the other one. I got up on my feet and few minutes later we've met the others in the park.
'We need another hideout.' Alex mumbled.
'Just please don't choose to be underground.' Alia laughed.
'If we find something at heights, the risks might be quite bigger. I need some private space. Look for a hideout and send me a message.' I said and went on my own, leaving everyone surprised. What was going on? How was Adrian involved in such thing? Was it possible for us to have the key for saving the world and ending this nightmare? The only way to find out was...
Danny: As soon as Nero left, the fights started. We didn't had any idea what should we do next. Alia said something about the first house we would see, Alex wanted to steal a laptop and retreat in a school. Adrian was quiet and interested about our argument. For me it looked very creepy to pass through such things and keep your calm.
'We should call for Nero, this conversation won't take us anywhere.' Said Alex.
'Nero said he wants to be alone.' Whispered Adrian more for himself.
'I know what he said! What I want to know is why after all this time in which hundred of people stepped through the hatch, we had been attacked when you were here? And not by five or ten but of five hundred at the very least?' I asked on a higher tone.
Adrian looked at me and said that it must have been a coincidence.
'Coincidence? We sent Nero to you because of anormal activity which consisted of the enemy coming to your direction. Is that what you call a coincidence? The fact that those creatures wanted kill you so much? Or the fact that we had faced a giant, who was almost about to break the secret entrance and to come after you? I don't see any coincidence in this story!'
'Danny' please calm down. You don't have any reason to stress right now.' Said Alia.
'No stress? Becausse of him we were about to die by the executioner's hand.' I tried to defend myself.
'And what did you expected? To be that easily? To stay there and not fight at all?' Alex contradicted me.
'That shelter was temporary, sooner or later we would had been discovered by them.' Said Nero from somewhere behind me.
'I hope you don't believe that this was a mere coincidence.'
Nero looked at me and said that he doesn't and that he had found a place to spend the night.
An hour later we arrived in the front of the hospital.
'Brilliant! The hospital's technology will allow us to examine Adrian's blood and determine if he holds the antidote or not.' Said Alia smiling.
'And as a plus we can visit the morgue and police station since they are only ten minutes away.' I said and looked upon the hospital. This place was giving me a strange feeling...like I've been here before...
