Chapter XXI - The final battle

Danny: I was surprised of this apparition.

'You should had given a shot back then when I told you to do it. It would had spared your time and made you discover the truth faster.' Said Adrian looking in Nero's eyes.

Annoyed by Adrian's behaviour, I had fired three times towards his head, but his hands were too fast for them and managed to deviate them.

'You had inserted nanites in your body, right? But they had taken control over you, right, bee-queen?' Asked Nero.

Adrian laughed and said that Nero has a brilliant mind.

'But what you don't know is that if you kill me, you will kill Adrian. So you have your choice now.'

Nero: I tried to hit him with my sword, but his moves were too fast. He was avoiding my sword and Alia's punches in the same time. How could I hit him at such a speed? He even caught my sword in his hands and given me a kick with his feet, throwing me in the wall.
Alia defended herself, but his power was way too much for her. She had been thrown as well in the wall. Adrian was heading to Danny.

'Coincidence? You're right! There was never such thing!' Adrian laughed and created a sword in his hand.

I had seen Alia drawing her weapon and pulled the trigger. The bullet hitted his head. The sword fell down and Adrian started to laugh harder.

'Stupid girl, do you really think this was going to kill me?'

Adrian turned to her and then I had used my chance and fired a shot. The bullet passed right through his head. With an amazing speed he had collected me and Alia and thrown us both in Danny.

'Is that all you can do?' He asked.

I had risen up on my feet and I had tried to defend my friends.

'I will fight until the end' I said.

'You're so stupid!' He laughed at me and with speed he tried to strangulate me. I had moved my sword and managed to leave him a cut on his chest.

He had thrown me in the wall behind him. I tried to get to my friends, but this only annoyed Adrian. His anger transformed him into a winged creature three times bigger than him. His horns and tail made me thinking of a devil. His green eyes were the only thing that I could recognize in him. All of a sudden, the demon appeared in front of me and thrown me again into Alia and Danny. He waved his hand as a goodbye and launched from it a ball of fire. I thought this was our end when...

Danny: The song of a flute filled my ears with joy. I had opened my eyes and I had seen someone in front of us who was singing at flute. Its sound materialised in blue energy which protected us from the attack.

Alia: He returned! My Alex was back! And right in the moment when I thought I would had never seen him. The demon sent another fire ball and the "shield" was protecting us. Even better it seemed to get larger until all of a sudden the "shield" vanished and from Alex's flute jumped a ball of energy.

Nero:I had seen Adrian who had been hitted by the ball of energy. I stood up on my feet and tried to run as fast as I could in the control room. I had opened the door and behind it there were only computers and buttons. A red one, under a glass, drawn my attention. The information on the glass helped me a lot: "(DE)ACTIVATION" I had pressed it and everything started to shake around us. Before leaving I had stabbed many times those computers and made sure that no one would ever try to repeat this thing.
I had helped Danny to get up, while Alex helped Alia and went out from that place which was crushing behind us.
