Chapter IV - The Shelter

Nero: We arrived at my house and went straight to the room that leads to the basement. The living room was quite simple: four armchairs in the corners and a big carpet in the room. I've headed to the armchair on my right and pulled a rope almost invisible. A hatch opened in the middle of the room and we rushed in. Passing down the first step the hatch closed back, leaving us blind. With the right hand I press on a secret brick and the lights are turning on one by one. We get down the stairs and the echoes of an argument are getting louder and louder as we get more and more down.

'We should find the patient zero' Shouted the girl.

'Don't you understand that we need an antidote. Patient zero is useless' said the man.

'But if we find it we can study him or her more closely.' She continued and got surprised when we entered. A beautiful blonde girl with blue eyes, dressed with a neck sweater and a pair of blue jeans, was arguing with a tall dark short haired guy with brown eyes. His shirt square pattern made him look cool at that moment in combination with his ripped jeans.

'What's the matter?' I asked.

'They keep arguing on which plan is better in order to get in advantage.' Said another guy who was sitting in a corner. He was taller than the other one and he was always wearing glasses. His calm was unbeatable.

 Adrian: The moment when the hatch closed after me, I had a strong feeling that something was not right. I was looking at Nero and asked myself what he was up to. When we met the other three people I had found the answer: He and with the help of a team were trying to save the world in a way or another. Later I had found their names: The girl 's name was Alia, the first guy we seen was Danny and the other one was Alex.

'Welcome to our team' Alex welcomed me.

'He is not part of the team' Nero replied and took off his coat and sword.

'No? Then why you brought him here then?' Alex asked.

'Because those creatures really wanted to kill him. I had never ever been ignored before.' Said Nero.

'Do you think he might have something helpful for our cause?' Asked Alia while studying me  with interest.

'I don't know, but 'till we find out he will not be let out wandering alone.'

 I looked at him and I could barely believe what he said.

'So the only reason you had saved me me is because I am somehow a magnet for those things?' I asked. 

'What did you thought? That I had saved you because of our common past? Are you even realising that I had sacrificed my family to get right here and right now?' Asked Nero desperately. 

Danny: You could feel the tension between them quite easily. I don't know that much about Nero's past, but I know that he is strong enough to save us when we would be in need.

Alia: We must find that patient zero. And this Adrian might be the key. Maybe he can help us realise some things since he is a living target for them.
