I'm so sorry for the long wait! And the shortness of this chapter. And the quality. Blah. I love all of you; thanks so much for waiting and commenting!: )
MAXWELL'S POV
"Green or bl-blue?" I asked, holding two shirts up. Aiden eyed my clothes, and I tried not to squirm under his gaze.
"Blue," he decided. I nodded and put the green shirt back in my drawer. As I bent over, Aiden wof-whstled. I turned fire red and stood to face him. "Or maybe," he drawled casually, "you should wear red. You know, to match your face."
"Y-you're so m-mean," I replied, which caused Aiden to reach over and ruffle my perfectly straight hair. "I-I'm not a d-dog," I pouted. Aiden just laughed and rolled his eyes--something he seems to do every five seconds. I bet his eyes just do it naturally now. One day he's just going to be sitting and class, and his eyes will roll and never stop.
"I'm going to go take a shower, alright?" I nodded, glad he would be out of the room while I changed. "You wanna join me?" he asked seductively, placing his hands on my hips. I shivered, looked down and blushed--something I seem to be doing every five seconds.
"N-no,"
"Aw, okay. Just me and my naked body, all soapy and wet..." he teased while walking out the door.
"Asshole," I whispered under my breath. I never knew Aiden was such a pervert. Or that I could be so attracted to a pervert. I shook my head, smiling at the thought of him. I quickly slipped into my blue T-shirt. Hm, I wonder if I should start on that social studies paper. I eyed my school bag. It can't hurt anything. I pulled a notebook out of my bag and sat my bed.
Many things contributed to the Aztec's defeat. However, three things seem to have helped the most: Germs, guns, and steel.
"Oh my fucking God, are you seriously working on a school paper?" Aiden asked incrediously. My cheeks heated up and I closed my notebook.
"It n-never hu-hurts to start ear-early," I protested. Aiden rolled his eyes.
"I have no idea why I like you," My heart stopped. Aiden just said he likes me. I smiled. Then, I noticed what Aiden was wearing. Or, more specifically, not wearing. Clothes. All that he had was a towel that hung loosely on his hips. My eyes were drawn to his chest, his stomach, and then the little bit of flesh above his towel. My neck and the tips of my ears were burning. Aiden didn't have a perfect body, but what he did have made my heart race. "You like what you see?" He asked, cockily raising an eyebrow.
"A, uh, no, I um, ah, clothes." I managed to blurt. Way to go, Maxwell.
"Don't worry, I'm putting them on." He turned around to face his closet and I buried my face in my pillow. How could he just walk in here, naked?! Oh my gosh, this is awful. Totally, totally awful. And totally yummy. "You can open your eyes now," He teased. I didn't bring my face out of the pillow, because I knew he was going to tease me. Why does my face have to be so sensitive?!
"Okay, okay," he said, "I'm leaving." I heard the door open and close, so I cautiously peeked out from behind my pillow. The room looked empty...
"AHA!" Someone yelled before grabbing me.
"AHH!" I screamed, yanking away from Aiden. My notebook and pillow fell to the floor as I tried to catch my breath. "You s-scared me!" Aiden was laughing hysterically.
"I know, Maxwell," I glared at him. "Now, are you ready to go?" He extended a hand, but I just looked at it warily. He sighed. "Here, I'm sorry."
"P-prove it," I retorted. I looked at him, and saw something stirring in his green eyes. What was he up to?
"Okay, but you have to close your eyes," I saw him trying to hide a smile in.
"Why?" I slowly leaned away from him.
"Just trust me," he said. So I closed my eyes and wondered what he was going to do. I felt someone sit beside me.
Then, I felt a hand on my chin pulling me close to them. "Here's an apology kiss," Aiden whispered. Before I could reply, he covered my mouth with his. Suprisingly, his lips were soft, and not so suprisingly, they felt so good against mine.
He gently put his hand on my neck and drew me closer. I rested one hand on his cheek.
Dear God.
Aiden pulled away. "I told you I would get that kiss,"
