I approach the Ravenclaw entrance only to see a panicked looking first year .

"Oh Merlin, I cant answer it... I knew I shouldn't have been sorted into Ravenclaw...," the small light-haired boy shakily mutters to himself.

"Don't be ridiculous, you were sorted into this house and the sorting hat is never wrong," I softly but confident reassure the boy. I look in amusement as his eyes light up as it lands on my prefect badge.

"Oh you're a prefect! You'll definitely know the answer to the riddle!", he says enthusiastically, and I believe trying to hide his relief. The eagle door knocker unfolds its wings and it begins its riddle,

"What in death becomes seen,

but also in death becomes unseen?"

Smirking at the knocker, I answer the riddle with ease., "Thestrals, as some who has witnessed death can see them, but if they die they cannot." As I finish my answer the door swings open and the boy runs inside shouting a "thank you", earning him a few glares from a couple of fifth years, to which they earn a glare from me and they instantly look down in shame.

"Aurora!", the wispy and airy voice of Xenophilius Lovegood, flew through the common room, and upon seeing him emerge from the dormitory stairs, Aurora's face grew into a genuine, soft smile.

"Xeno! How are you on this most extraordinary and fantastical morning?", Aurora greeted her fellow sixth year Ravenclaw approach her, a wild grin forming at her greeting.

"I'm most absolutely wild with stress!", the Ravenclaw boy's eyes widening in worry, "I cannot seem to remember what charm to use with a Venomous Tentacula! And i've seemed to have lost my copy of Flesh-Eating Trees of the World!", Xenophilius cried out.

"Well let me help you over here at this table", Aurora offered while motioning to an empty mahogany table with one of the deep blue and bronze lamps in the middle.Clapping his hands together, Xenophilius thanks Aurora profoundly making her giggle.

"No need to thank me Xeno but I have to say, I love that little up do you did with your hair", she motions to the small bun at the top-back of his white hair, holding the top part of his hair up.

"Oh it's nothing really, my hair was really quite stressing me out, getting in my face... maybe I should cut it...," the eccentric fellow begins to mumble about cutting his hair shorter much to Aurora's alarm.

"Oh please don't Xeno! I love your hair!", Aurora cries out.

"Mmm yes? I think Pandora likes it very much as well... maybe I shouldn't cut it...," he replies, to which she smiles warmly, starting her explanation of the effects of the Severing charm on the Venomous Tantacula.

After approximately a hour of helping Xenophilius with Herbology, which Aurora often helped him with for he did not quite get. In saying that he was not incapable for he was quite fantastic in History of Magic.

Many of the other students often tended to avoid Xenophilius Lovegood because of his eccentric qualities and strange beliefs, but Aurora found him to be refreshing and a gentle soul. Luckily he had found someone who adored him absolutely, a girl named Pandora Venori, who was had long wavy, light blonde hair and was very proficient in charms. Although unlike Xeno with his wild hair and wacky clothing choices, Pandora was a neatly groomed, "normal" witch.

"Thank you dawn goddess!", Xeno cheerfully thanks me as I gather our newly written notes, and handing them to him. I laugh good-heartedly at his nick-name for me derived from it's meaning. I watch as he heads towards the dormitories with a slight skip in his step, making me smile.
