Twirling a lock of her dark raven coloured hair around her finger, Aurora Goldstein looks in utter concentration at the piece of parchment in front of her. Her other hand unoccupied by the protein filaments on top of her head, was scribbling furiously with her feather quill, the same onyx colour as her hair, only pausing to gather the information in her mind correctly before duplicating it onto the parchment. The scribbling was in fact her Defense Against the Dark Arts essay on the vile creatures that are the Inferni."Sorry, sorry, sorry I'm late! The boys held me up and I—"
"Remus stop, you are completely fine", the girl looking up from her parchment to interrupt the frantic Remus Lupin with a small giggle. He gives a grateful smile, which turns into shock as his eyes lock onto the parchment in front of her.
"Merlin Aurora, you are nearly finished!", he exclaims in disbelief and she looks at the parchment covered in fine ink writings with a small frown. Surely she couldn't be nearly finished, there was still so much information to write down.... Remus' sudden laughter brings the beautiful girl out of her thoughts.
"This is why you never got anything less than Outstanding in all twelve of your O.W.Ls", Remus broadly smiles, putting emphaises on twelve and Aurora, effected by his contagious laughter, bursts in to a fit of giggles.
"I guess thats a good thing I was sorted in to Ravenclaw then", she says with a smile... more like chose to be in, she thought to herself.
Both smiling softly, they turn to their respective parchments , the scratching of their quills the only noise between the both of them. Unknown to the raven-haired beauty, who had once again become engrossed in her essay, her studying partner's smile has turned into a soft frown, his quill pausing as he pondered over a question that had been bothering him since fifth year ever since he had become to know the Ravenclaw.
Why did Sirius Black hate this kind-hearted girl so much...?

"Merlin's Beard, the bell for the end of fourth period will ring soon!", the Ravenclaw exclaims in shock as she looks at the old muggle wristwatch given to her by Lily.
"Come on Remus, we don't want to be in Professor McGonagall's bad books", utters Aurora and Remus scoffs good-heartedly at his study partner as he quickly packs up his things.
"Aurora Aphrodite Blackthorne-Goldstein, I doubt you could ever be in McGonagall's 'bad books' as you call it. You're her favourite student, and you're a Ravenclaw!", Remus exclaims in mock exasperation and Aurelia cringes significantly at the use of her middle name and last name, but playful nudges the mouse-brown haired boy as the duo make their way to their transfiguration room in the South Tower.
Chatting away, the pair were quite content with their situation when a specific boy with deep grey eyes interrupts their peace with the sound of his voice.
"MO—REEEEMMUUUS!!!!", the obnoxious yelling of Sirius Black is heard behind the pair, causing Remus to look at the Ravenclaw with a regretful look on his face.
"It's okay, we are here anyway", she smiles at Remus, already accustom to this treatment from Sirius.
"Good afternoon professor!", Aurora greets McGonagall walking into the classroom in a rush before the elder Black sibling comes near, interrupting the boy as he opens his mouth to protest.
Shaking his head at the girl who runs off to her seat beside Lily Evans he frowns as he walks over to his. Unfortunately Sirius had been watching intently at their interaction.
"Moony why do you associated yourself with her?!", Sirius spits out the word 'her' in distaste, Remus looking at his mate in disappointment.
"Padfoot, if you got to know her again you would know she isn't like your family or any of those purebloods. Merlin, she's best friends with a muggleborn and half-blood who aren't in her house!", Remus begins to defend Aurora, but it is in vain as Sirius waves him off.
"Nonsense Moony, you see dear Aurora Blackthorne is only using them to appear sweet and kind. You do not see this as unfortunately you have been deceived", Sirius pats Remus on the back sympathetically. Rolling his eyes the boy with the scars on his face turns his attention to the writing on the board, feeling sorry for his Ravenclaw friend.
