Chapter 8

Luna

It was late at night when I moved on to the next ship that needed fixing but I had my reasons for it taking a while. A lot of these including mine were from the old Clone Wars so the ship parts were old and there was no replacements.

"Hew Master Shadow do you want any help?" Ben asked. He was still trying to hear something from his father but I told him not to worry. He was just a kid so he wouldn't understand and that was sad but he would learn from either Mace or Yoda soon and then he would fear me.

"Sure kid. If you can hold this here so I can go get the part that would be great," I said as I walked over to my work table. He liked helping me because it made him feel closer to his father and I understood that to a point.

"Nice so how would you like to paint it. It's for your mother so you can give it to her on her birthday," I said which made his face light up. He reminded me of a younger Sabine and when she walked out here she almost laughed when Ben asked if she wanted to help.

"Maybe later kid but right now Kanan needs to talk to Luna," she said. I rolled my eyes as I stood up but my balance wasn't fully back. Why he wanted to speak to me was unknown by Sabine but she also said that she had to get all the Ghost members so I knew something was up.

"So what is all of this about?" Holly asked as we all gathered on the Ghost. It felt like old mission meetings that we had but something was different about Hera and I knew that Kanan had the answers that I needed.

"We have good news and there will be new members to the team and they'll get here in nine months," Hera said. Zeb and Ezra looked confused so I had to explain.

"So you're having twins? That's great," Holly said. Sabine screamed happily and I had to cover m eyes because even mic feedback isn't that loud.

"How the hell did you make that sound?" I asked. Everyone laughed but Sabine started running around the ship and baby proofing the whole ship. I was happy for them but my head was still hurting from yesterday. Things were going to change for everyone and I don't know if it will be a good thing or not but for today I think it will, I hope it is.
