After I was able to finally move around, I went and checked up on Jess and Zoe. To see how they were doing after the cockroaches. Even though it was two days ago.

"Hey." I say as I walk up behind Jess and Zoe, but quickly turning around to see me walking towards them.

"Bastien!" Jess half yells as she scrambles up and pulls me into a hug. "You're finally awake! Hw are you?"

"I'm feeling a lot better. But not about the fact that I was the last to wake up." My eyes drift towards the ground and then back up to Jess and Zoe. "How are you two?" Both Jess and Zoe were also covered in the small bite marks and tattered clothing like Tyler was. I probably looked the same.

"Good. It's actually quite peaceful here in the Lion Clan. Don't know why we didn't come here in the first place." Zoe says while doing a quick scan of our surrounings. I took a look around as well.

There were tents that littered the ground, and people happily talking as they walk to wherever they need to go. There is a wall made of tree trunks that surrounds the perimeter of the main area of the Lion Clan. Guards dotting the platforms, watching to make sure nothing gets through those walls. There was the occasional laughter and the sun shining made everything seem a lot happier than it is. It was peaceful.

I hum my response to Zoe, but the answer to her question pops into my head. "The Clan War." I say and Zoe nods her head.

"This would be a nice place to live if there wasn't a war going on right now. If everyone decided to live in peace."

"We could start a new civilisation. Restart humanity. It would be nice." Jess states and I completely agree with her.

If we can somehow win this war. Connect all of the Clans to make one big Clan. Or at least have them live in peace with each other. I don't even know why they all started their Clans so close to each other... there is so much land to start it on, though this is the reason why there is a war. The Clans are expanding too close to each other.

"Bastien?" Someone calls out, interrupting me from my thoughts.

I turn my head in the direction that the voice came from. I saw a blonde female standing with her hip cocked, looking at me expectantly.

"Yeah. That's me."

"Could you please come with me. We were told that you were going to speak with the leader once you were up and moving." What? I was nowhere near ready to speak to the leader! I had absolutley no clue what to say!

"Sure." I get up slowly, trying to buy me some time to think about what I am going to say.

She takes off walking into the midst of people and tents. I was half running to keep up with her because she was taller than me and had longer legs. I would lose her somewhere in the crowd of people, but would then catch a glimpse of her weirdly clean hair.

I take a quick look around and see that everyones hair is clean. Do they have shampoo? Where would they get shampoo from... My hand drifts to my hair. Slowly rubbing part of it back and forth in my fingers before letting the hair drop back into my face. It was getting quite long and it was very dirty. I must ask someone about that.

I ran to catch up with the woman taking me to the leader and started walking in step with her. I took another look around and it amazed me to see how everyone was working in harmony. Everyone had their part to do to keep everything in check. Even though they weren't considered a Clan, when they were threatened, they work together to over come the situation.

The only thing that I didn't like, was that everyone had some sort of weapon on them. Everyone was living in fear of being attacked at any moment. There were a lot of guards stationed around the walls that surrounded the Clan. The walls looked like they had been rushed to be put into place. They must have lived without walls for years, not worried about being attacked by other Clans.
