The Hunt

After explaining everything to Umi-chan and Kotori-chan, I was sitting at the grand piano. I was surprised that they accepted it, and me. I really don't like keeping secrets.

But I have to. Cause I don't want to scare Muse or other humans. So basically I have to hide my species. Since some humans want the blood of a PureBlood, since it's like a medicine.

I started to play the instrumental version of 'Aishteru Banzai'. I got lost in track before I realized that Nico-chan was staring at me. I got goosebumps as I looked at Nico-chan.

"Nico-chan?" I said quietly as I sat up from my stool. "I wanted to know if you'd like to hunt after the person who turned Kotori-chan and Umi-chan." Nico-chan whispered softly.

I nodded, "but first, let's get some sleep. It's getting dark outside." I said softly, Nico-chan nodded in agreement. We both walked to were we slept last time, when we went to the beach house. I noticed everyone in their pjs and asleep, I smiled a bit. 'One day they'll be a time when I'll show my true self to Muse...caused by something..' I thought to myself.

I then quietly walked and slipped myself into the sleeping bag. Nico-chan did the same with the other sleeping back next to me. I looked at her as I gently grabbed her hand. She smiled as she closed her eyes. I did the same as we both fell asleep.

|~~~~~Nico Yazawa's POV~~~~~|
I woke up as I slowly opened my eyes. It was still night time, I then checked the clock. Seeing that it was around midnight. I then sat up slowly, I looked at Maki-chan. As I gently poked her cheek a couple times.

Maki-chan then opened her eyes as she woke up. She looked at me as I nodded. She sat up quietly. She looked around to make sure everyone was asleep. She held my hand, before she teleported us two outside. Maki-chan yawned as she stretched, "shall we go hunt that person down." She said in a serious tone.

I never seen Maki-chan this serious before, I shrugged it off as I nodded meaning yes. We then walked to the forest, since it might be were the Vampire is hiding. I took out my gun just to make sure.

As we entered we both sensed a dark presence. I was slightly nervous, Maki-chan touched my shoulder softly. I then felt relaxed. I don't know what I'll do without Maki-chan.

As Maki-chan and I walked deeper into the forest. We heard ruffling from the bushes. I aimed my gun at the bushes, as maki-chan took out her throwing knives.

Before we knew it, the person who attacked Umi-chan and Kotori-chan jumped high in the air. Nico-chan pulled the trigger but he dodged it with incredible speed. I gripped the knife as I made my hand bleed. Which got the man's attention. He then appeared in front of me.

He grabbed my hand, before he can do anything. Nico-chan knocked him out, with the back off her gun. "All we need is some of his blood so Umi-chan and Kotori-chan don't turn into mad blood thirst vampires.." I whispered.

Nico-chan nodded as she gave me some tube samples that were empty. I then cut his finger slightly. As i put the samples next to his finger. Blood started to run down his finger into the sample tubes. After we collected his blood to save Umi-chan and Kotori-chan, I made him disappear into the Senate's control.
