|~~~~~Nico Yazawa's POV~~~~~|
Man that was a shit move. I should've just said that I wanted to see her. I shyly looked at her, seeing that smile of hers that made by stomach churn. "It's fine." She said kissing my cheek. "Do you want anything to drink?" She offered."Some water would be nice."
Maki nodded, grabbing my hand gently, as she took me to the kitchen with her. My stomach flipped every time. God she's adorable. She let go of my hand to open the cabinet to get a glass, before filling it with water. She passed it over to me. I grabbed the glass, thanking her, before taking a sip.
"Did anything interesting happened?" I asked, taking another sip. "Yea, wolf girl, her name is Akari." Maki said sitting on the counter. I choked on the damn water. "She was here?" I asked shockingly.
"Yup, she made me follow her. Don't worry, it wasn't a trap. She took me to an abandoned building."
"Why?"
"That's when she told me a little history about it. It's where it all began, but it's special to her. Because her mother died there."
Maki's tone had changed and honestly, I don't blame her. "Damn.." I said quietly. "Yea.. that..and.." She clenched her jaw in anger, before sighing. "My father, he killed her mother." She said disgusted at him and herself. I could see it in her eyes.
Believe me I was shocked. "He killed her mother?" I asked in shock. "Yea, god I hate him and myself." She said angrily. "Woah, there's hating your dad for what he did. But hating yourself is not something different. You had no idea, and it's not your fault." I said putting the glass down, before I grabbed her hand, gently kissing it.
"You had no control over it. Hell, you weren't even born yet."
"I know but, I can't believe he would do something like that. That and my mom didn't tell me anything about it. I feel betrayed." Maki said furrowing her eyebrows.
"I know, but don't hate yourself." I said gently pecking her lips, as I laid my forehead on hers. She sighed in relief as she looked into my eyes. "Alright.." She whispered tangling her fingers with mines. "Good." I said pecking her lips again.
"Does your mother know about us?"
"At the moment no, but I think she's getting the memo. What about yours?"
"I haven't told her yet."
"I see, oh, and before you freak out. I may have told Akari to met me at the rooftop after practice was over. So I could show some old friends of mines. To show her that we've changed." Maki said pulling me closer.
"It's fine with me, but you might want to tell the other girls. I'm pretty sure they're like, traumatized from last time when she "visited" us. Which I'm still mad cause you got injured." I said giving her a playful glare.
"But that was a couple months ago." Maki giggled. "Still, you got injured." I said.
