Prologue

|~~~~~Maki Nishikino POV~~~~~|
It was a rainy day, and I noticed a girl getting attacked. I noticed it was a Vampire so I ran quickly to the girl. Before I got there I heard a gun shot, my eyes widened. I looked at the girl and saw the Vampire turn into dust. I looked around to see who killed it. But no one was there. I looked at the girl as she passed out. I sighed a bit as I walked away. I got a text message from Honoka.

'Maki-chan! We're going to start practice. You better hurry before Umi-chan scolds you!'

I quickly ran to my house and got my practice uniform. I then ran to Otonokizaka Academy. I noticed Nico-chan walking to the club room.

'I wonder why Nico-chan is going to the club room' I thought to myself, i felt my cheeks grow slightly red. 'W-Why am I worried about her!?! I-it's not like I care for her or anything!' I snapped out of it as I put in my practice clothes. I went up to the roof were we usually do practice. I opened the door and sighed. "Maki-chaaaan!" Honoka-chan said in her energetic voice. She hugged me as I blushed a bit. "W-What?" I said looking at Honoka-chan. I saw Eli-chan, Nozomi-chan, Rin-chan, Hanayo-chan, Kotori-chan, Umi-chan, and Nico-chan going through the door.

"Alright everyone, let's get warmed up." Umi-chan said as she clapped her hands. "Hai!" Everyone said as they all stretched.

"Nico Nico Nii~! Good job everyone~!" Nico-chan said, I swear she could be so annoying. "Quite down Nico-chan, you're so annoying." I said as I twirled with my hair. "Shut up Maki!" Nico-chan said as she gave me a serious death glare. I knew she was a Vampire Hunter. I could smell it, and I know that she knows my secret too. I rolled my eyes. She walked up to me and pulled my by the collar. "Look I know your secret. And you know mines too. So I'll be careful who you're messing with." Nico-chan said as she whispered in my ear.

I felt everyone staring at us. Nico pulled away and crossed her arms. "What was that all about, nyaa?" Rin-chan asked looking at me and Nico-chan. "It was nothing. Just asked Maki if she wanted to walk to the park." Nico-chan replied, "EHH!?!!!" Everyone said shocked, "Nicochi did you develop mutual feelings for Maki-chan?" Nozomi asked as she had a slight smirk on her face. "What? No!" Nico-chan said glaring at Nozomi-chan.

I rolled my eyes, everyone looked a bit confused. Nico-chan then grabbed her stuff and left. Everyone did the same, "well goodbye, see you tomorrow." Kotori-chan said smiling before walking down the stairs.

A couple minutes everyone had left, but I was still at the rooftop, looking at the sunset. I heard a faint knock on the door to the roof. Before I looked back it was Nico-chan, pointing a Vampire Hunter gun at my chest.
