Alex is female today because... IDK. I just feel like it.

"Alex Alex Alex Alex Alex!!!" Samirah rushed into the demigod's room, practically flying as she tried to contain her excitement. Magnus ran in after her, looking as though he was going to regret everything that happened next.

Alex looked up from her book and rolled her eyes. Great. There goes my afternoon. "Hi Sam. Mind telling me why you've come charging into my room like you've just kissed Ryan Gosling?"

"Even better!! I found out that Magnus MHHHPPP!!" She said, the last part intelligible as Magnus clapped his hand over her mouth.

"Magnus what?" Said Alex, one eyebrow cocked in amusement at Magnus, who had gone white and was sweating, his eyes wide and alarmed.

"We can't tell him!" He hissed.

"Her!"

"Okay, we can't tell her, then."

"Can't tell me what?" Alex smirked.

"It's... it's Nothin- SAM, DID YOU JUST LICK MY HAND???" He said, jerking his hand away in disgust. Sam stuck her tongue out at him before saying, "Did you know that Mag- MPPPPPPPHHHHHH!!"

"Hey Magnus, you know, I could always tell the others about-" said Alex, a sly smirk on her face.

His eyes practically bugged out in fear at what she was about to say and hastily stopped her. "OKAY, OKAY!! I'll tell you today at 8, I swear!!" He said, before proceeding to drag Sam out of the room.

"Sam, just because it worked once does not mean licking my hand is going to work again." He said, his face disgusted, slamming the door behind him.

"Oooh!! What's going on today at 8??" Said Sam, wiggling her eyebrows successively.

Magnus glared at her. "Alex challenged me to a video game duel."

"But only the two of you. So it's basically a date!!"

"Oh, shut up! That's not the point! I have only till 8 to come up with a believable story, so help me!!"

"OR, you could just tell ALEX FIERRO THAT YOU, MAGNUS CHASE, LIKE HER!" Sam said, eyes twinkling.

"Oh sure, say it louder, I want the whole WORLD to know." Said Magnus, rolling his eyes.

"Okay fine. LISTEN UP, EVERYBODY! MAGN- MPHHPMHHPPHN!!"

"Shut up!!" Magnus hissed.

"Okay, you have GOT to stop doing that."

Magnus glared at Sam. "Anyway, promise me you won't tell this to Alex."

"Fine, I promise that I won't go and tell her myself that YOU, MAGNUS CHASE, LIKE ALEX FIERRO!!"

Magnus glared at her once more. "Whatever, I'm going to help TJ get ready for his date. Meet me at six with any ideas." He said, walking towards TJ's room.

"But you didn't say anything about her finding out." Sam muttered, watching him go, a devilish smirk on her face.

"Hey," said a voice behind her. Sam whirled around to see Alex Fierro, leaning against the doorframe.

"You do know my room door isn't soundproof, right?"

Sam widened her eyes innocently. "You mean, you could hear us?" She said feigning shock, her hand on her heart, her mouth open dramatically.

"I think the whole FLOOR could hear you..."

As long as you did. Sam thought.

"So..." Alex's voice became softer now, more serious, as if she really cared about the subject. "Is it true? What you were saying, I mean."

Sam put an angelic smile on her face. "Maybe."

"Can I take that as a yes??"

"Maybe."

"Oh, shut up!"

"Okay, it's a yes." Said Sam. "Oh, and P.S., call me after you two make out. I wanna see Magnus' face."

Alex narrowed her eyes at her. "What?"

"I know you like him too!!" Said Sam, skipping away.
