1) The Wonder Weapons:
This is when a character who is usually a fighter (A Jace like character) has to enter a place where they can't take in any weapons. (This scene also happens when a character has stolen money)
Person 1: Take out all your weapons.
M.C.: *removes way more than should be possible weapons*
Person 1: ALL of them.
M.C.: *Shakes leg as more weapons fall out*
Person 1: *glares*
M.C.: *pulls out one more tiny pistol*
2) The Language Expert:
I've taken an example from One Day At A Time (The remake) to explain this scene.
Penelope: Have you brushed up on your spanish, Schneider?
Schneider: *with absolute confidence* Claro, que si!
Penelope: *impressed* Okay, good. *babbles in rapid spanish*
Schneider: *blinks* Claro, que si!
3) The Slow and the Placid.
This is when the antagonist needs to get to the Protagonist using some sort of vehicle, with the Protagonist usually on foot, like, 5 miles away.
Antagonist: *from far away, with evil smile* I'm coming for you...
Antagonist: *starts vehicle*
Vehicle: *putters*
Antagonist: I'm coming for you! *kicks vehicle to start it*
Vehicle: *Moves two inches*
Protagonist: *Stands there holding his gun and blinking*
4) The This-should-be-in-the-blooper-reel:
The scene is getting intense, and the Protagonist is running from the Antagonist.
Protagonist: He'll never find me here. *Looks at door, smirking*
*Nothing happens*
Protagonist: I said, HE'LL NEVER FIND ME HERE!
Antagonist: *nowhere to be found*
Protagonist: Aw, forget it.
Antagonist: *in sing-song voice* I'm here!
Protagonist: *rolls eyes*
5) The Teleporting Antagonist:
This is when the Protagonist is hiding in a room with only one way to get in, which they are blocking/not taking their eyes off of. We have seen the Antagonist clearly chasing the Protagonist, who has a huge lead, before they (The Protagonist) enter this (usually locked from outside) room.
Protagonist: *escapes into a tiny room with only one entrance which they hold shut.*
Antagonist: *From behind* Running from me?
Protagonist: MOTHERFU-
