1) The New Fangirl: This is the one who's just finished reading the Canon material and decides it's time to become part of the fandom! But of course, when you enter the world of fanfiction, there's way more than just reading the actual book/ watching the movie/ TV show.
(I'm using the PJO fandom as a reference because we have the craziest ships)
New Fangirl: (NF) Wait what??! You guys don't ship Jiper??
NF: What the f*ck is Brason???
NF: Wait, you guys ship Jason with the brick that hit him??! Why??
NF: Wait, why do you guys say 'What the Di Angelo??'
NF: But since when does Zeus ship Percabeth??
A.K.A. Some things you only understand when you've been in the fandom for wayyyy too long.
2) The Canon Ground: This is the person who ONLY GOES BY CANON MATERIAL and absolutely HATES IT if others don't do the same.
"FOR THE LAST TIME GUYS, JERCY IS A BROTP. GET IT?? BROTP. PERCY IS STRAIGHT AND SO IS JASON."
"HAS RICK SAID BLITZSTONE IS CANON??! NO??! THEN HOW CAN YOU WRITE FANFIC ABOUT IT??!!"
"HOW CAN YOU WRITE FANFIC ABOUT ANYTHING!! YOU'RE NOT THE AUTHOR, ARE YOU?!!"
Yikes.
3) The Demigod: This is the one who has CONVINCED herself that she is part of the world in the books, and that the characters are REAL. She will beat you if you say otherwise.
Oh, it rained today? Her fault! Daughter of Zeus, see? She was just feeling sad...
Sea particularly calm today? She just gave her dad a birthday gift, he loves her now.
If you see one of these people, STAY AWAY. You cannot help them. They're way too far in to do anything at this point. (HAHAHAHA I'M NOT ONE OF THESE PEOPLE WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??! *proceeds to chant hymns to Apollo to heal a friend who's got a cut on her face*)
4) The Crack - Ship Spaced: The Fangirl that's COMPLETELY opposite to 'Canon Ground.' She REVELS in fanfics, and her OTP's are almost NEVER Canon.

Like WHERE, GIRL, WHERE??
She, like 'The Demigod', has been in the fandom for so long, and is so deep into it that it's IMPOSSIBLE for her to not to make constant references to the fandom, to the point where you can only understand 30% of what she's saying.
"This is just like if Lukercy, Thalico, and Freyna got- (Blah Blah Blah)"
5) The Fan- Author: My favourite type of Fangirl, this is the Fangirl who you turn to for all your cracks, fics, etc. They write/edit SO WELL, it brings tears to your eyes. They've got the characters' personalities on point. The songs/dialouges they pick out?? Match PERFECTLY, and make you laugh SO HARD that ligit tears come out. They write SO much like the author (sometimes even BETTER than said author) that you wonder if they're the author in disguise.
Seriously, these people deserve a fanbase of their own.
