So there are three main kinds of Braille in English:-Grade one: a letter-by-letter translation used for basic literacy. A,B,C... Etc.
-Grade two: an addition of abbreviations and contractions to grade one. Ch, wh, th, gh, ed....Etc.
-Grade three: personal short hand (but right now that's not important)
Nick used a translator and grade one Braille to translate the letter. Although grade two is shorter and faster to read it's harder to translate and sometimes can be miss translated if using an automated system.
