"Now spill," Jubileen said.
"What is there to spill?" Reinne shrug it off and lay on her bed. "Besides its nothing."
Jubileen sat on the edge of her bed. "What the fuck happened to chicks before dicks?"
"Its not even real."
"What?"
Reinne sigh. "Leave it. Tell me about you and Jace."
"He asked me out..."
"He did now?"
"Stop changing the subject," Jubileen slap her with her pillow. "Who's Hayden S.?"
Reinne remembered her bear, who is sitting at her living room. "Look who's smiling?" Jubileen smirked at her. "So..."
"I'm not," Reinne hid her face under her covers.
Jubileen forced the covers out from her. "Please. Just one thing about him. Just one."
Reinne sigh. "Just one?"
Jubileen nodded. Reinne decided to find the words to keep it short. "He... You know him."
"That's it?" Jubileen asked, exasperated.
Reinne thought about it. Jubileen really known him, she just doesn't know that they had more than just in the office encounter.
"That's it," Reinne left her bed.
"Where you going?" Jubileen followed her. "Woah. Woah. Woah. Don't touch that."
Reinne grab the Jack Daniel's they placed as a display in the living room. "What? You don't plan to keep this on display, do you? We bought this for a purpose and this Jack Daniel's will serve its purpose now."
"Okay... Place it back. You don't want to have a hangover tomorrow right? You can't be absent tomorrow at the meeting."
"Why not?"
"Chinese investors? Ring a bell?"
Reinne placed the bottle back at its display, when Jubileen's words processed in her head. Damn, she wanted to get drunk and watch Chicago Fire on her laptop. When was the last time she got drunk seven years?
Reinne let out a loud groan. "I wanted to get drunk so bad."
Jubileen laugh. "Come on. Let's go grab ice cream."
Reinne squealed and head to her room to grab her coat, not minding if she's going out on a pajama. Jubileen shook her head at her friend's attitude. How did she last long with her?
Jubileen head to her room to grab her phone and wallet. She stop when her phone rang and Jace's name came up.
"Hey."
Jubileen smiled. "Hey. What are you doing?"
"Sitting in my living room. Watching some reruns. What about you?"
Jubileen saw Reinne in the living room ringing her keys at her friend's face. Jubileen gestured her to go out first.
"Consoling a friend."
