"Where are you taking me?" Reinne asked Hayden 30 minutes after they left her apartment.
Hayden glance at her then back on the road. "Secret."
"Secret really?" She scoff at him. "What are we five?"
"Nah. If I were five then you should probably be two or one."
Reinne snap her attention to him. "How old are you?"
"Thirty turning thirty-one next year," Hayden answered her casually.
Reinne did a simple math. "So your three years older than me."
Hayden nod. "Why Reinne?"
"Why what?"
"Why does my dad call you Reinne while you friend Jubileen called you Ivy?" Hayden asked as he make a turn towards the main road.
"Well... Ivy is sort of a nickname," She shrug and glance at the window before turning back at him. "I use the name Reinne in the office. What is this? Twenty questions?"
Hayden shrug and sent her a smile. Reinne watch his eyes lighten up every time he smiles or laugh. "Maybe. Next question?"
"Shoot."
Hayden thought of a question but something has been eating him since he went to her house. "Who's Keith Gallo?"
Reinne stiffen when he said the name. Never did she expected that he will ask her that. "Why did you ask?"
"When we went to your home two months ago, your helper said that name and you paled. I want to know why?"
"Pass," Reinne doesn't want to open up the subject she had long locked up. That name connect to the other memories she wanted to forget.
Hayden turn to her when she didn't spoke up. He watch her turn to the window with interest, it was obvious that she wanted to ignore the subject. His curiosity got the best of him.
Hayden park the car when they arrived at the diner. He saw Reinne glance at the place then back at him. He watch her eyes lighten up. Her eyes are very expressive. When she's mad or aroused it turns to the color of darkest chocolate and when she smiles its the same color as the milkiest chocolate. Hayden's hates chocolates but he's thinking of chocolates every time he capture her eyes.
"What are we doing here?" Reinne ask while following him inside.
"I'm just going to grab something," Hayden said and sat directly at the table across the door.
Reinne glance at the diner. Its a bit away from her apartment and a little worn out. She can smell burgers and fries.
"Oh! If its not Hayden," Reinne glance up to see a woman in her fifties, wearing an apron on top of a casual jeans and shirt attire.
"Hey, Mandy," Hayden stood up to hug the woman named Mandy.
"What brings you here?" She asked stuffing the pen away.
"I came to get what I ordered," Hayden glance at her. "By the way, Mandy this is Reinne."
Mandy turned to her with a big smile. Reinne grab her outstretched hand. "Hello."
"My gosh, Hayden," she gush. "She's pretty. Keep her will you?"
Reinne's cheeks turned tomato with what Mandy said. Hayden chuckled with her expression.
