Hayden stare at the person he used to call his best friend and his ex fiancée. Nothing changed much about them except for her swollen belly.

"What are you doing here?" Hayden asked again, in case they didn't hear the last one.

"Can we talk?" Sierra said. He used to think that her voice was that of an angel. She proved him wrong.

Hayden scoff. "You should have had done that two years ago. What changed?"

"Hayden, please," Kevin said. "We didn't came here to argue with you."

"We know what we did was wrong but please hear us out," Sierra pleaded.

Hayden heard a phone ring but he just continue to stare at them. Reinne took that perfect opportunity to grace the two visitors with her presence.

"Hayden?" Reinne entered the living room not noticing the two strangers gaping at her. "Babe, your mom called me. She told me that she booked us an appointment with an oby-gyn to check the twins condition... hi?" She look up from her phone to see the guest. She turn to Hayden. "I'll just..."

Hayden sigh when Reinne left the room faster than Usain Bolt. He opened the door wider and followed Reinne to the kitchen. He didn't care if the two of them entered his house or leave.

"Coconut," Hayden sigh when Reinne glared at him.

"Really, Hayden?" She snap at him.

"What did I do?" He asked not knowing why Reinne is angry.

"That woman was pregnant!" She hissed at him. "And you let her stand there outside for five minutes? If someone did that to me, what will you do? Someone let your pregnant girlfriend stand outside for five minutes, what will you do?"

Hayden sigh in relief. He pull her towards him. He took in her scent which calms him. "I'm sorry. It won't happen again."

Reinne nod, her anger fading and wrap her arms around him before patting him on the back. "Go entertain your guest while I make crêpes."

Hayden nod, in agreement. He hate going to a disagreement with her because he would never win. He turn to head back to the living room but stop when Reinne called him.

"Hayden?"

"Yeah?"

"She's Sierra, isn't she?" Reinne kept a straight face. She wished the circumstances where they all met were different.

Hayden nod before heading back to the living room and sat in front of his guest. "Start talking."

"I'm sorry," Sierra said, close to tears. "I'm sorry if I left you on the altar alone that day to run away with Kevin. I'm so sorry."

"When did it started?" Hayden stared at the coffee table. He didn't want to look at them.

"Three months before the wedding," Kevin answered.

Hayden cursed quietly in his mind. They would say that if you don't have something good to say better keep it to yourself because that is what a mature person would do. "I see, and you didn't bother to tell me?"

"I tried, but..."

"I was your best friend, Kevin," Kevin flinched at the way referred their friendship in the past tense. "You should at least have the decency to say it in front of my face."
