Jubileen glance at her friend who is quiet the whole dinner. She's absently playing with the vegetables on her plate.

"Okay," Jubileen had enough. "What's going on?"

Reinne glance at her. "Nothing."

"Nothing," Jubileen scoff. "Really? Who are you talking to? Drew? Cut the crap, Ivy, and tell me what's wrong?"

"Remember our call this afternoon?"

"Yeah, you sounded off. Why?"

Reinne sigh. "Drew came in and handed me a résumé. Guess who?"

"Obama? The hell should I know?"

"Its Keith's résumé," She quietly answered.

"Keith... As in the past Keith? Our batch in college Keith?"

Reinne nod. "What happened next?"

"What next?"

"Its been six years, Ivy. You should be done with him."

"I know," Reinne push her plate away. "It just that..."

"What? You still have feelings for him?"

Reinne glared at her. "No... Not like that. Its just..."

"Just what?"

Reinne groaned, decided to shut up and leave the table. "I'll wash."

Jubileen grab her hand and pull her back to the table. "Don't. Tell me now."

"I'm mad at him, but I'm over him, okay!"

Her friend glared at her. "Really?" Reinne just stare at her and Jubileen continued. "Okay. You know the five stages of denial?"

"Yeah, why?"

"You're on the first stage, my friend," Jubileen place her plate on the sink.

Reinne huff out. "I'm on the acceptance stage already. By the way, why is his last name's James?"

"His mom got married again, remember?"

Reinne nod. "Yeah, that was messy."

"One reason why you two broke up."

"Thanks for stating the obvious," Reinne started the dishes. "It was a mutual agreement."

Jubileen shrug and wipe the dishes when there was a knock on the door.

"We need to get a doorbell," Reinne groaned and wipe her hands with a towel.

"Told me that a thousand times."

"But never act on it," Reinne answered the door and glare at the person on the other side of the door.

"What are you doing here?"

Jace run his hands through his hair. "I need to talk to her. Please."

"No. Now leave our apartment before I call the police," Reinne turn to shut the door but Jace foot stop the door.

"I have to talk to her," Jace said. "Please."

Reinne scoff at him, close the door in front of his face and ignored the knocking on the door, just as Jubileen entered the room.

"I heard everything."

Reinne chuckled. "Of course you do."

Reinne glance at Jubileen in shock when she took the displayed Jack Daniel's off its place. "What are you doing?"
