Hayden glance up from his papers when he heard a commotion outside of his office. He left his desk and went out his office to see his secretary and Reinne's secretary talking on hush tones.
"She's not here?" His attention turn to the woman, who just arrived in tears.
"Calm down, Jub," Reinne secretary tried to calm her down.
"Calm down?" She lashed on the guy. "How can I calm down? She called me Drew. She asked for help! Oh my. It can't be."
"What? Can't be what?" Lily ask. "Look, I saw her came in here an hour ago but that's it. She might have left without my knowing."
The woman named, Jub, burst into tears. "Then where is she now?"
"What's going on?" Hayden decided to speak up.
"Sir," the three of them stand in attention.
"What are you talking about?" Hayden asked them.
"Sir," Jub said. "Lily said that Miss Lacson went to see you?"
Hayden nod. "Yes, she did but that was an hour ago. Why?"
Jub cried harder. "An hour? Oh my god. Andrew!"
"Calm down. She's might be in the building," Andrew or Drew said.
Hayden felt his body stiffen. He turn his attention to Andrew or Drew. "You mean to say, you didn't saw her after she came to my office?"
Andrew or Drew shook his head no. "Last time I saw her, she told me to take down notes from our meeting but that's it."
"I called her before I left the apartment but there was no answer. I called her again when I arrive here and she said help."
Hayden can see and visualize many events happening to her but none of them made him at ease. "Lily, call Louis. Tell him to track Miss Lacson's phone and tell the security team to check all the CCTV for the last hour on all floors."
Lily nod and get to it. He turn his attention to Jub and Andrew. "Go back to your floor. I'll call when we found her."
They both nod and left his floor. He went back to his office. He felt his heartbeat race. He pace back and forth in his office while waiting for the call. Anticipation is killing him. Please let her be safe. He quietly prayed.
The loud shrill of his ringtone broke his reverie.
"We've found her," Louis, his personal IT said. "She's in the building. 43th floor, emergency stairs."
"I owe you." Hayden quickly called Lily and told her to dial 911. "She's in the 43th floor."
Hayden pressed on the 43th button and tap at the wall hoping that it will move faster. When the elevator opened, he quickly dash to the emergency exit, passing by curious gazes.
Hayden open the exit door and didn't see her. He head down and and still didn't see her. He curse and took the stairs two at a time but stop short when he saw a phone on the floor. He look up to see her lying on the step, pale.
"Reinne," he shook her. She feels cold under his touch. He felt relieve when he felt that she's still breathing.
Carrying her bridal style, he left the emergency exit and told the nearest to him to call the medic. He had her checked and calmed down when he heard that all her vitals are fine.
