"Ahh Miss Fant, come to my office after lunch." Dumbledore smiled as he passed Ellie in the corridor after breakfast.
"Do you think he has answers?" Hermione whispered positively, "I'm not sure, we will see I guess." Ellie replied crossing her fingers. "Seamus was talking about you last night.." Hermione winked playfully. "About me? what exactly did he say?" Ellie asked, screwing up her face.

"He said he thinks you're hot, he's really got a thing for you!" Hermione giggled, Ellie's eyes met Snape's over Hermione's shoulder as he passed by, obviously hearing that someone likes Ellie. "I'm not really looking for anything right now.. with all that's going on. Besides, there is someone in my life." Ellie explained seriously. "Who?" Hermione pressed, "just some guy... he doesn't feel the same." Ellie sighed, "well then, even more reason to get yourself out there! I think having someone in your life will be good for you."

Ellie thought about what Hermione had said, she was right in one way. Having someone by her side through all of the stress would be good for her, but that wasn't going to happen. The only person she really wanted was unreliable.

Harry caught up with them as they headed to potions class, Something Ellie was dressing after the night before. "Hey guys!" Harry said cheerily, "Where's Ron?" Hermione asked, wondering why the two were apart. They were usually joint at the hip. "He's with McGonagall.. let's just say he's in a spot of trouble." Harry smirked, holding the door open for the girls.

They took their seats and waited for Professor Snape to begin the lesson, "Today we shall not be brewing potions, instead I have set you all a carefully constructed written test. I wish to have a greater understanding of your abuilities for the approaching examinations. No books for reference will be allowed, and you shall not turn over your papers and begin until I say so. I'm hopeful that even you dunderheads will have no problems following these instructions."
He drawled, slamming the tests on the desk of each 'dunderhead'.

"Who the hell so you think you are calling us dunderheads?" Ellie stood up and demanded he answer. "Sit down Miss Fant...." he warned seriously. "No, you can't talk to us that way!" She said proudly. She heard agreedment amongst the other students.

"Sit down Miss Fant... and detention with me tonight for your attitude." Snape scowled, returning to the front of the class. "You can shove that up your arse." Ellie spat, causing everyone to gasp and recoil in horror, they all knew much better than to talk to the dungeon bat that way.....

Snape growled and ordered the class to turn over their papers and begin. He slunk down into his chair at his desk and tried to process what had just happened.
He stared at Ellie as she scribbled away, occasionally pausing to look at him, and caught every single time by his onyx orbs.

She looked away swiftly each time his eyes met hers, as if determined to not be dragged in by their beauty. He gave her a pleading and pained look when her eyes met his again, her glare softened to sadness, she sighed and returned to her work. Not looking up again once during the class.

"Miss Fant.. could you stay behind please, I'd like a word." Snape tried as the students were leaving the room, "No, I can't." Ellie spat in frustration, slamming the door behind her. 'she hates me..' he thought, slamming his quill down on the desk.
