'Why is it so cold?!' Yuuri thought as he sat down on Viktor's warm couch. Well, it was supposed to be warm, but it just felt like soft ice cubes. Yuuri rubbed his arms and shivered, teeth chattering. Who knew Russia could be this cold?!

Viktor did.

Yuuri looked around for a blanket or something. There had to be something in here!

Viktor's apartment was something out of a magazine, except for some dishes in the sink. The couch was probably big enough only for Viktor and Makkachin, but Yuuri was just a little shorter than him. So, if the full couch was supposed to be warm, Yuuri wasn't feeling the love. Around the living room there were a few things that could keep him warm. There was some of Viktor's longer coats, a scarf, Yuuri's skating jacket, and Viktor's skating jacket.

He got up and tentatively picked up Viktor's jacket. The fabric felt light, yet warm and soft. And it gave off the smell of Viktor, which made Yuuri blush a bit. Then, he shivered again, and looked at the clock.

'Viktor said he'd be home around 3... And it's already 2:30...' He bit his lip and slipped it onto his person. 'He won't mind. It's freezing and I can't figure out how to change the temperature.'

As he slipped it on, he could feel the warmth starting to surround him, and he no longer shivered. He let out a sigh and smiled, then sat back down on the couch. Then, he noticed it.

The smell.

It wasn't a bad smell, God no. It smelled a bit sweaty, but more musky and warm. It smelled like Viktor. He smiled and laid down, cuddling it close.

Viktor returned home an hour later and was about to call out Yuuri's name when he saw the Japanese man on the couch, asleep and hugging onto the jacket around his person. Viktor smiled and kneeled next to the couch, his upper body lying on it. Slowly, he fell asleep too.
