As the Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lio- I mean, regular guards and totally not Yuuri's friends- entered the castle, they started to look for wherever Yuuri might be. Then, they heard soft sobbing from up the stairs.

Yuuri was curled up, crying on the floor next to the giant crystal ball, when he heard a familiar voice calling his name.

"Yuuri...? Yuuri, where are you?" He looked up and around for the source, then saw, inside the crystal ball, was his mother.

"Mom? Mom! Can you hear me?"

She looked around, confused. She didn't hear anything he said, breaking his heart more. He sniffled and knocked on the crystal ball.

"Mom! Please! I'm so scared! I wanna go home!" Soon, her image began to fade, making him shake and his breath go shallow. The image distorted to the Witch's as he cackled. Then, it went dark.

Then, came a slam to the door, making him scream. Through the door, he heard familiar voices.

"Just cut it open already!"

"I'm trying, but it's really hard to do!"

"We're gonna die!"

Yuuri rushed to the door. "Scarecrow? Lion? Tin Man? You're all here?!" Then, Makkachin gave an audible boof through the door. "Makka!"

"Yuuri, stand back!" Tin Man commanded. When he did, Tin Man started to chop through the door, wood pieces flying all over the place. Yuuri covered his head with his arms as the silver ax flung wood everywhere. Finally, there was a hole large enough to help Yuuri get through, and when they all got him through, he hugged them close and started to cry happily.

"You came!" He smiled to all of them, tears flowing down his cheeks. They all nodded.

"Of course we did, little pi- Uh, Yuuri. You're our friend." Lion responded.

"Let's go!" Yuuri led them down the stairs quickly, but before they could escape, the door closed and the shrill cackle of the Wicked Witch was echoed through the halls. They turned to find him at the top of the stairs, holding his broom and wickedly smiling (what else would you expect from a WICKED WITCH).

"You're not going anywhere!" The Witch threw the red sand hourglass at them and it exploded before them, revealing an army of guards with their spears pointed at them all. The Witch came and stood in front of the guards, smirking. "Now, give me those skates. Unless you want something bad to happen to all of your friends and beasts." Makka whimpered and hid behind Yuuri, shaking. The Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Cowardly Lion pushed Yuuri back and stood in front of him.

"You'll never get those skates!" He called out to the Witch. The Witch frowned, then held up his hand, which was holding a ball of fire. The Scarecrow gulped but still stood to protect Yuuri. The Witch lit the straw pieces of his broom on fire and pushed it onto the Scarecrow's arm. Scarecrow started to scream and Tin Man and Cowardly Lion started to try and put it out. Yuuri, with some quick thinking, grabbed a bucket of water and threw it at the flaming arm. While some of the water did put out his arm, leaving minimal damage, the majority splashed onto the Witch, making him scream in terror.

"How could you do this?! I'm melting!" He clawed at his clothes and arms, and slowly his face began to drip and dissolve. Yuuri gasped and stood pale, shocked. After the Witch melted entirely, the only thing left were his clothes, his broom, and smoke. Makkachin sniffed the clothes and looked to Yuuri, panting with a smile.

"... He's dead." One of the guards said.

Yuuri gulped, "I am so sorry-"

"Hail hail! The Wicked Witch is dead!" The guard called out. Soon, all the guards responded with hails and cheers of celebration. The guard that spoke before stood and shook Yuuri's hand, smiling. "Thank you so much! You've killed the Witch! How can we ever repay you?"
