~Day and Night AU! (My Favorite)~
As the sun king watched his ball of fire drift slowly down and out of sight, he sighed and sat down on the sands of the Twilight beach. These days, Viktor couldn't find joy in the things he used to love, like tending to his garden of Sun Ray Roses, or teasing his possible successor, Yuri, about his cat-like attitude. Now, his roses started to wilt and he found no joy in even smiling at whatever funny thing Yuri said. He felt his heart sink along with his sun, until he stood and looked to the person next to him. He dusted off his blue sunset cape and royal suit, then blushed at the man next to him.

A young man with baby blue skin and night sky black hair, draped in a black kimono and shimmering night blue cape and glowing crown watched as the sky turned from the bright blue Viktor was used to, to now being as dark as the blush the man had when he realized Viktor was staring at him. The stranger looked to him in surprise, then bowed politely.

"I am so sorry for disturbing you!" The young man cried out, his voice quivering. In fact, his whole body shook. Viktor tilted his head.

"... You are the moon emperor, yes?"

The young man lifted his head to reveal his blue blush had grown darker. "... Y-yes," he stammered, "...  I am the moon emperor. A-a-are you the... sun king?"

"Da. King Viktor." Viktor smiled brilliantly at him.

The moon emperor bowed. "Emperor Yuuri."

Viktor was about to speak, when he saw the line of dark sky slowly creep in. He sighed. "... Will I see you again?"

Yuuri blushed and looked away, biting his lip in thought. "... Most likely."

Viktor smiled. "I hope so. You are quite handsome." Then, he turned and quickly left to his castle to be safe from the dark sky.

The next day, Viktor smiled brighter than he had in quite a few months. He plucked a rose from his garden, then headed for the beach.

Until it was finally time for the sun to be up, Viktor stood at the beach, pacing. He sighed and sat in the sand, fiddling with the rose. Finally, he left it on the bench and left for his usual duties.

It was not until later, when the sun was to set, that Viktor found the rose had been taken. By who?! He quickly snuck to the gates separating Night and Day and saw...

Yuuri was in his own garden of Moon Bean Lilies, watering them and humming. And, in the waist of his kinmono, there was the Sun Ray Rose Viktor left for him. Viktor smiled brightly and sighed in content, watching Yuuri garden until the dark sky set in.

Ever since, the sun and the moon have been in love with each other. The one thing to connect them were their flowers for each other, and when they wilted, Viktor would turn the Moon Beam Lilies to clouds and Yuuri would turn the Sun Beam Roses into stars, so each could see the others' love all the time.

I am so sorry I haven't updated in so long! And I deleted a part! Well, I love this AU so much.

I have been really busy with a bunch and I found out some stuff that kinda jolted my world.

I have been officially diagnosed with depression.

I'm taking meds and I don't hurt myself, but I thought you guys should know.
