Hey babes and pals!

So, I got this idea from a few drawings someone had done. They should be above.

Thank you.
-------------------------------------
Yuri had awoken to the sounds of crashing pots and pans, Makkachin yelping, and a baby crying. He sighed and tried to fall asleep, not ready to deal with-

Wait. Did he just hear a baby?

Yuri quickly got up, wearing one of Viktor's sweaters and only his underwear, and raced downstairs. The baby noise came from the kitchen, so he entered and saw...

"... What happened?"

The kitchen was a mess. There were eggs on the floor, Makkachin was licking his tail, and Viktor was trying to calm a crying baby when Yuri entered. There were a few pans on the stove and one on the floor. As Yuri stepped in, Viktor turned to him and smiled.

"Good morning! Would you like breakfast?"

After cleaning up the mess, Yuri put Viktor, along with the baby, on the couch. A deep breath later, he looked to Viktor, who was cooing at the baby.

"Viktor, please explain what happened."

The silver hair man didn't hear apparently, as he still cooed the baby, who was having none of it. Yuri groaned and took the baby from Viktor's arms and held it. "Now, explain how this baby came into our home."

Viktor sighed and started. "Well, I had woken up early this morning to make you breakfast..."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Viktor woke up in bed before the sun had risen, the moonlight barely getting through the windows. He looked over to his fiancé, Yuri, and smiled. The moonlight hit Yuri's face just right, as if to give him a glow of beauty. Viktor, being the amazing husband he believed he was so much, got up and started to think of what to make for breakfast. He slipped on some pants and a shirt, then headed down to the kitchen.
As he started the stove and cracked a few eggs, the doorbell rang. Viktor went to it and opened it, only to find no one there. He looked around, and nearly stepped out when his foot hit something. A woven basket lay in front of the door, and when Viktor kneeled down to open it, a small coo of a baby came. He gasped, then opened the lid to reveal...
A little baby with platinum blonde hair, similar to Viktor's, and brown eyes like Yuri's. The baby looked into his eyes, then smiled and reached for him. He smiled softly, then spotted the note pinned to the baby's blue blanket. He opened it and read.
~To whomever this may concern,
Please take care of dear Sofia. I'm afraid that I can no longer do that for her, and I fear she may not have the life she deserves if she continues it with me. I have included her birth certificate, and any medical information. She is going to be 2 in two months, so please be kind. Thank you so much.~
Viktor looked up, scanning the streets for any man or woman who may have been left. But no one was there. He looked down and picked up the baby, then carried it inside.
Yuri didn't believe the story until Viktor handed him the letter. It was all in Russian, but he could tell it was the truth. He looked to Sofia, who was chewing on her hand, and pulled the hand out of her mouth. She looked up at him with her big, brown eyes and tilted her head.
Yuri gulped and looked to Viktor. "Viktor, we're not made to be parents. We can't take on a baby, we barely handle ourselves." It wasn't true, but a baby could easily take that all away.
"But Yuri, her parent dropped her off here. It must mean something." Yuri sighed. Sofia cooed and reached for Yuri's glasses. He looked to Viktor.
"... Fine. We will try to adopt her. If we can't, you can't complain, okay?" Viktor nodded, seeming serious. Yuri sighed, then stood, holding the baby at his hip.  She cooed and snuggled against Yuri.
Viktor smiled warmheartedly. From where he was looking, it seemed that little Sofia had fallen for Yuri, and Yuri with Sofia.
---------
After a few weeks, they finally were able to get to a court office in Russia. Viktor and Mila (as Russia is not really big on gay relationships) had to adopt, but Mila signed as Yuri. So, officially Sofia was Yuri and Viktor's little girl. The first few weeks beforehand were...
Interesting.
A few times during the night, she wouldn't cry out, but whimper loud enough to have Makkachin whimpering along, waking Viktor up (because all pet owners know that sound when their first child is in trouble). But, the first few time, Viktor woke Yuri and told him to take care of it. The only reason why was because Yuri had more experience with children (A/N: Are you trying to say Axel, Lutz, and Loop weren't in need of a babysitter?). So, he would get up, care for Sofia, sit in the chair with her and rock a bit, and somewhat fall asleep until Viktor started to whine about it being cold. Basically, the whole night was a game of switching places between a bed and chair.
The next day, Yuri was up bright and early, seeming like he had all the sleep in the world, while Viktor looked as if someone was blaring in his ear all night. But, as he walked into the kitchen and saw his fiancé making breakfast and feeding Sofia, while she cooed and reached for him, Viktor felt his heart warming up and he smiled, sighing. It caught Yuri's attention, and when he looked up with a bright smile, that was Sofia's chance. She reached and grasped a tufted of hair, then her smile fell into complete amazement. She mouthed random 'oooo's, and Yuri pulled away.
"Huh, she really likes my hair." Yuri commented.
"I wonder if she would like mine..." Viktor wondered aloud, leaning over and greeting Sofia with a smile. However, something upset her and she started to cry, making Viktor frown. He pulled away and pouted. "Yuri, she doesn't like me!" Yuri looked at the two and went to...
Sofia.
"Maybe she was scared because you got close to her face. You are really intimidating..."
That made Viktor even more upset.
"But I thought she liked me!"
"Well, maybe it's just a matter of circumstances."
For a long time, it didn't seem that way. Anytime Viktor would try to smile at Sofia, she would start to bawl, making Yuri have to be 'mama.' It offset Viktor so much, he started to doubt whether he would be a good father or not. Even if it wasn't Sofia, he worried about kids in general. Was Yuri going to have to take care of them?
Then, a week before the trial, Yuri and Viktor took Sofia for a walk. Only problem was, it was snowing. The poor little girl was curled up against Yuri, but still shivered. Yuri bit his bottom lip and looked to Viktor.
"Viktor, I think she needs someone warmer. Would you hold her?"
Viktor looked to him with surprise, then took his scarf and wrapped it around Sofia, before taking her in his arms. The scarf was quite large in width and length, so it was almost a blanket for her. Sofia stopped shivering and looked up at Viktor, then grabbed a small tuft of his hair. She didn't yank, but stared in mesmerization.
Viktor was just as surprised, but not because of his hair. Sofia actually liked him. It just took the right circumstances. He smiled warmly, cuddling the little girl closely.
Yuri, at this point, was sobbing and taking pictures. So beautiful...
