If Only

CHAPTER 28

JESSICA'S POV*

           I woke up the next day after playing with Jin and eating. I think I eat too much already. Blame it on him, who ask him to cook so much. Stups. I across the room to a table. There are stacks of paper on the desk like as if someone was working over night. Lol.
        I found a sharp object on the side of  table. It looks like a pin for wood craft. I picked it up and went to the window. I used my hand and tried  hitting the side of the window. At last, a click was heard. I smiled in relieved. The window was unlocked and I opened it to look at the outside world. The funny thing is, they made my room looks like it is high up but it is actually on level 1. Should I escape now?
       Suddenly, footsteps were heard along the hallway. I quickly closed the window to make it looked like it is lock and threw the pin to the corner of the room to be unseen. I quickly ran towards the bed and pulled the covers over me to look like I am still sleeping.
          The doors opened once I closed my eyes. "Is she still sleeping?" I heard a deep old voice. Then I heard Yoongi saying "It seems so." He sounded so formal towards that guy. Who the heck is he? I heard footsteps coming closer to me and I felt that person's breathing near me. "She looks just like her mom." He said. I then felt his hand touch my face. I immediately tensed up upon his touch. Did I felt it before? Somehow when he touched me, I felt pain stabbing my head like a knife.
        "AHH!!" I screamed while jumping up from the bed. That older guy smiled. "Soo Yeon ah, I knew you were awake." He said. Somehow I feel uncomfortable when he talks."Who are you? How did you know me?" I asked. He chuckled, before replying. "Of course you won't remember me. Afterall, you lost your memorise after your father's death." Appa died? No..he didn't, all a while, he did chat with me through whatsapp while I was in USA.

      "You lied. How can I believe a stranger?" I shouted. He laughed. Yoongi is just standing at the door smiling. That guy then took out his phone and handed it to me. "Watched this." He said. I took it and pressed the play button. It revealed that Namjoon and SooJung is in the video. Namjoon was holding the knife on top of my father. I gasped. He tried to kill my dad?? I continue watching. He didn't when Soo Jung went in. Instead, I saw that guy who is standing in front of me smirking, gripped onto a different knife and stabbed my dad's chest. I immediately dropped the phone and screamed. Yoongi and that guy started laughing. My eyes are stilled glued onto the screen. In the video, I came in a few minutes later. I watched that guy pushing NamJoon out of the room before closing the door. I could not bear to watch the rest as I remembered everything already

*flashback*

     I stepped out of the bathroom after doing my business. I heard a scream that sounded like Soojung. I pressed my ears against my room door. The screams just gets louder. It really sounds like SooJung. I opened the door and went outside. I saw a few men holding Soo jung. I boiled. What are they doing?? I wanted to go up to them but her scream made me thought that she was in appa's room.
         When I ran in, I gasped. I saw a bloody sight of Appa lying on the bed with blood everywhere on the bed. I put a hand over my mouth. I could not believe what was before me.
       I heard the room door closed. I didn't turned as I thought Soo Jung came in. A hand touched me and made me turn around. A middle aged man was in front of me. He touched my face. He then pushed black leather gloved onto my hands. He then pick me up and pushed the knife that he stabbed Appa with and started making me cut appa. I screamed. I did all my might to try to push him away. I didn't want to do this to my own father. When I finally push him away, I accidentally knocked into something that caused me to black out.
