CHAPTER 36

MADELINE KIM HA EUN'S POV

*Still in flashback*

What have I done? I almost killed the love of my life. I felt regretful. I left for my secret hideout in the forest where it connects to my world. I left whatever I had. Four years passed and I was still in the same place. Im Soo took over the company after the Mins left and my two daugthers slowly grew up beautifully. I cried every time I watch them celebrating their birthdays with Im Soo. As much as I could not be with them, I want to be. But I couldn't. One day, When I was preparing to go out, a gust of wind blew strongly towards me. Wondering whats wrong, I ran to the room to the pool of truth and watched. That freaking son killed my freaking husband!!!!!! I shout my heart out. The whole place turned dark and gloomy. "Show me the whole process. How did he do it?" I screamed my hearts out once again after I watched it. "WHYYYYYY!!!! WHAT DID I EVER DO??? MY DOESS MY LIFE HAS TO BE IN THIS WAYY!!" I felt tears streaming down my cheeks. I continued screaming my lungs out and started shooting out my powers everywhere. After a while, I slowly stopled but continued crying. I felt weaker and weaker. The pain was unbearable. And then I passed out.

I slowly opened my eyes and looked up. The house turned to normal. I guessed that I have been knocked out for a very long time. "Voice." I called out. "Your awake, finally. You have passed out for years." I closed my eyes. Years. I passed out for years. "How are my daugthers doing?" I asked, while still on the ground. "About that topic,someone is here to tell you about it." With that, I have met Ji Chang Wook. He is really sweet. He told me to meet my daugthers one day, but I could not bring myself too.

We talked for hours then he left. Not long after, I heard the front closed. Strangely, I did not open it. Feeling curious, I went up ahead to check but was attacked from behind. Then I was blacked out again. When I woke up, all I saw was darkness. My head was covered with a cloth bag. My hands was tied by enchanted ropes that can't be breakable. I heard the door opened and footsteps were heard. They forced my to stand up and walked. After a long walk, I was forced to kneel. They took of and I looked in front. My daugther was there. She looks exactly like me. But I turned my gaze and saw Mr Min's son standing in front of me, Min Yoo Tae.

*Flash back ends*

"Ah.... I see." He said. "You haven't changed since the day I have met you, by now, you are too weak to do so." He chuckled. I scoffed. "I failed once, but I can do it again. I can make it happen to your son. I'll kill him like what happened to your father." His eyes widened. He knew pretty well why his father passed away. Its because during that day when I hurt Im Soo, I planted a poison stalk in Mr Min's heart that can kill demons or devils. Slowly but painfully. "Jimin." He said. "Yes, sir?" I looked at the guy who spoked then back at him. "Pick out the best kinfe." Yoo Tae spoked, and smirked.
