CHAPTER 40

JESSICA'S POV

     I walked and dragged my feet to the window that I cracked opened. Amazingly its still there open, no one actually knew about it. Wow. I tiptoe and looked over the latch. Its actually not that far down... Its only like....er... 4 stories down but yea...

      Okay fine its far. I might die. But its is better than to be dead here right? Erm.. right? Oh yes I am right. Hahahaha, jokes. I swing my legs over to the open area facing a Jungle. It's now or never. I closed my eyes and leaped over.

     A few moments later, I felt nothing as I was descending to the ground. I opened one eye and took a peek. Omg, I have no idea how I am here alive but somehow I am. Jess, now its not the time for this. Right, important matters now. When I was about to run, I heard a stomp inside the buliding. Feeling Anxious, I turned around. I saw Ji Chang Wook tied on a chair trying to get my attention. But nah, he killed my mum. I felt so angry when we made eye contact. I turned my body into the jungle and broke into a run. I have no idea where I am running off to but I still have to run.

JI CHANG WOOK'S POV

    I woked up with a terrible headache at the back of my neck. Whoever it is, gonna get from me for hitting me so hard. Suddenly, I heard a loud thud from outside that made me turn to the window.

      I turned and looked. My eyes widened. How did she manage to escape? I tried to make the chair go nearer to the window to get her attention. Finally after a few tries, she turned but soon broke our eye contact and ran away. She's probably still angry at me for killing her mother. I quickly untie the ropes around me and broke the window free. I put my legs over and ran after Jessica. Stupid people, don't know how to tie up a person. Mr Min should give them lessons. Haha, jokes. Not really a joke though.
