Chapter 11

Okay! I am soo sorry for the wait! I have been crazy busy with exams, then I have renovations, it's been awful! but I finally updated *claps*. please excuse any mistakes.

okay, now that was odd. Jacob has never just came up to me at my locker. we never really talked at school, unless he was taunting me. Maybe he wanted something, I could not deal with that. I have enough bullshit of my own, I don't have enough time for anyone else's.

I arrived in homeroom and took a seat beside Audrey.

"hey Niki!"

"hey" I smiled and nodded, Audrey was always in a good mood. Why? I don't know. How she dose it? no clue, I on the other hand was the exact opposite. Audrey was going on about some mall, when my phone buzzed.

I unlocked my phone to check my messages. and a picture of me came up, It was me listening to Audrey, I looked very un interested. It was not a bad picture of me though. Then I saw a caption on it.

"awe, you look so adorable when your zoned out"

I was very confused, then I looked up from my phone, to see Jacob with a very arrogant smirk plastered on his face. I scowled and turned my attention back to my book. but before I could get really into it, my phone buzzed again.

"What you doing this weekend?" it was from jacob. why did he care? not like we were friends. I replied with a 'why do you care?' Little harsh I know, but I wanted to know why. within a minute I got a reply.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to come to the beach? there is a party going on."

He wanted to know if I could come? this made my heart flutter a little bit at the thought. but then I remembered his type.

"Why do you want me there?" I feel sorta like a bitch right now, I'm kind of giving him a tough time. Oh well, I will get over it. He replied even quicker this time.

"Well you just moved here, thought it would be fun?"

I could see where he was coming from, and Jacob was right. I needed to have some fun. I have not had fun in a long time. I turned so I was facing Jacob. I gave him a nod and he smiled. Then the bell rung saying first period was over.

I was starving by the time lunch rolled around. I walked to my locker and grabbed my water and apple and headed to cafeteria. I know what your thinking 'I thought you said you were starving' ya well I am, I just slept in this morning and that's all I could grab.

Once I made it to the large cafeteria doors, I pushed through them to Audrey sitting at her usual table. I smiled and sat across from her. She was looking down at her phone while frowning.

"What's wrong?" I have not seen Audrey like this. So I did not know what to do.

"Well, you know the beach party this weekend? I was suppose to go with Alex, but he bailed. I think he ditched me for Rachel Bower." she looked pretty upset about this.

"Well I'm going this weekend, you can come with me."

This seemed to lift her spirits.

"Really?!? om-I-gosh thank you! it will be soo much more fun going with you anyways!"

I laughed, it was really easy to cheer Audrey up. Just then Audrey changed her attention the the door, and she let out a small gasp. I looked at her with confusion. then I felt a body slide into the space next to me. I moved my gaze from Audrey, to the familiar person sitting next to me.

"Hey sugar" jacob have me one of his classic smirks.

"Hi?" Alex and Jason slid into the spots next to Audrey, an I swear to god she was going start hyperventilating.

"Heey Niki" Alex winked, I gave him a glare. Jason just smiled and nodded. I liked Jason 'as a friend' he was cool.

"Can I help you guys with something or...?" I trailed off.

"Probably not, we just came to make sure you girls were coming to the beach this weekend." Jacob informed me. Then Alex chimed in

"Can't have a party without some hotties there."

Wow. Alex sure knew how to change a simple topic into something much more. He thought I was hot? not that I thought I was ugly, but I have always been a bit self conscious. Score points for me.

"Yea, we will be there." I answered very casually.

"Great" Jason finally spoke. and on that note, the three boy got up and left. Audrey looked like she was on cloud nine.

"I am sooo excited!" she said in a sing song voice. what have I agreed to.
