Chapter 17

The kiss started off slow. Our lips moved in sync. Jacob tightened his hold on my waist bringing me closer, if that was even possible. Our chests were smashed right against each others. I trailed my hands up his strong torso, and tangled my fingers in his dark locks.

The kiss started getting more heated. Jacob trailed his tongue over my bottom lip, asking for entrance. When I didn't grant it, he got frustrated, and let out a low growl. He then squeezed my ass lightly, and nibbled on my bottom lip, making me gasp from the feeling. He took that moment to slip his tongue into my mouth, meeting mine half way. We battled for dominance. I gave his hair a light tug with my fingers and he groaned. I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him impossibly closer, making him smile into the kiss. His hands were now on butt keeping me in place.

He broke the kiss, and started to kiss along my jaw. Leaving small light kisses until he reached my neck. He then began trailing soft kisses all around my neck. Until he hit one spot, and I let out a quiet moan. He smiled against my neck, then proceeded to suck lightly on the spot. he grazed his teeth on my neck, and I let out another moan, this one louder than the last. Jacob started to suck harder on the spot, and started nibbling on the tender skin. this time I let out a loud moan. He stopped and left more soft kisses around it. I knew I would have a hicky there now. but for some reason it didn't bother me. Jacob came back up and planted one more hard kiss on my lips. Only then did he finally pull

away.

He looked up to meet my gaze, and smiled. I returned it.

"Wow" he whispered

"Yeah, wow" I whispered back.

We sat there, for I don't know how long. Just staring into each others eyes. I don't think I could fight it anymore, I had feelings for Jacob Sheltin. Feelings that I hoped would never surface. I just hope he felt the same way. I mean, that kiss had to have meant something to him right?

I was the first to make a move by un wrapping my legs from around Jacobs waist.

"So. I. uhmm-" I trailed off. What was I suppose to say?

'Thanks! you confirmed my feelings for you that I didn't want to happen!'

Fuck no.

Being in this uncomfortable situation, I let my childish side kick in.

"Last one to the cabin is a rotten egg!" I shouted.

I quickly turned around and made a run for the cabin. I didn't hear anything from behind me. Jacob was standing there probably very confused from what just happened.

In a matter of a few seconds I heard footsteps from behind me, I quickened my pace, but I knew he was catching up, I could hear his footfalls grows louder.

I then felt a tan strong Arm wrap around my waist and Jacob threw me over his shoulder like I was a rag doll. I let out a shriek and he laughed, a deep hearty laugh. Once we got back to the cabin, he put me down, and stepped into the cabin before me. He threw his hands in the air in celebration.

"I win!" he cried

"What?!? no! we got to the cabin at the same time!" I said back crossing my arms with a huff.

"Maybe, but I stepped into the cabin before you" he said with a smirk, giving my nose a flick when he said it.

I huffed and walked down the hall to my room to get changed. Once in my room I shut and locked the door. I didn't want Jacob sneaking in on me.

I striped out of my bathing suit and dried off with a warm towel. once I finished drying off my body, I pulled out a fresh bra and underwear, then slipped on a pair of shorts, and a tank top. I pulled my hair back and put it into loose braid.

I walked out of my room and sauntered down the hall to the kitchen, to see Jacob sitting at the table with his arms crossed, staring at me with that why I used to call stupid smirk of his on his face.

I walked over to the cabinet, feeling his gaze hot on my back. I grabbed a glass out of the cabinet, and filled it with water, I slowly drank it, not wanting to turn back around.

I soon a pair of strong arms wrap around my waist from behind. I leaned into Jacobs hold, feeling the warmth radiating off of his body. He nuzzled his face into the crook of my neck. His hot breath sent shivers down my spine. He lifted his head and places his mouth by ear.

"So I wanted I ask you a question" he whispered. his hot breath tickling as he spoke. I replied with a "hmm?" He let out a small chuckle. I could fell his chest vibrate, with very light laugh he let out.

"Would you, Niki Wright, like to accompany me on a date tomorrow night?" he whispered.

I turned around still in his hold, and I placed my hands on his shoulders and pulled him close, so my lips were resting my his ear.

"Yes" I whispered back. I pulled back to see the expression on his face. Jacob had the biggest grin on his face, the one that went up to his eyes, the one I accidentally complimented him on the first week of my moving here. The one that I love so much.

He leaned down and gave me a light peck on the lips, then pulled away, leaving me missing his warmth.
