After Everything We Did

Im not too sure anymore

It was a bright a sunny day and the isle if Berk was still sleeping peacefully as the sun began to shine on the village

Astrid was sleeping soundly when a loud thud woke her up, like it was natural instinct she grabbe her axe from u set her pillow and aimed to throw at where the sound came from

Her target in her sights she was ready to throw

But!

"Heather?"

The young girl had come into Astrids hut to see how she was doing but in doing so she knocked over a rack of swords causing Astrid to almost kill her and heather almost soiling herself

"Hi Astrid" heather said nervously with a small wave and a soft warming smile

"What are you doing here" Astrid said darting out of her bed and wrapping heather in a loving sisterly hug "I heard about what happened" she said seep rating the embrace

"About what?" Astrid said trying to act like nothing happened, the memories hurt but not as much as the sin she now had to live with for the rest of her life

"Snotlout told me all about it, but I wanna hear it from you as he tends to stretch the truth" she said, Astrids heart dropped

Was she really going to have to describe what she went through in the last month to her friend

Astrid sighed and sat down on her bed with heather sitting beside her

"You sure you wanna know?" Astrid asked

"Well I wouldn't be here at six in the morning if I didn't want to know" she replied, Astrid nodded keeping her gaze on heather and with a deep breath she started

"Me and hiccup were trying for a baby for months and we weren't having any success at all, we had tried everything from different positions to herbs, nothing seemed to work" she said fidgeting with her fingers whilst she told the story

"One day I was seeing the healer and she said if I wasn't careful I could kill the baby if I did fall pregnant, I was so scared I didn't know what to do or who to talk to and eventually ended up talking to this guy called Eret"

"Wait a minute, Eret?! Eret son of Eret" Heather said in shock "yeah, do you know him?" she asked

"Yeah, he tried to seduce me but it didn't work, I knew exactly what his intentions were and I just kicked him I'm the balls" she said laughing at the memory

Gods the things she'd do to get the chance to do that again

"Anyway.........me and Eret were talking and he was so sweet and kind and before I knew it....." Astrid stopped and shut her eyes still feeling that horrid pain of knowing how she had just betrayed hiccup

"And before you knew it.......?" heather said urging her to carry on

It took all of Astrids will power to say the words she promised she would never say about anyone but hiccup

"I had sex with him" she said hanging her head in shame

Heather couldn't believe what she was hearing "you probably think I'm sort of slut or prostitute" Astrid whimpered as the tears began to fall down her rosy cheeks

"What!? why would I think that Astrid, you're no slut okay" heather said pulling Astrid into a loving tight hug

"But I had sex with someone who isn't hiccup, I'm a failure heather, I'm worthless" she cried, all the pain flooded out her body like a waterfall

"Shh shh shh, its okay Astrid its okay"

Astrid continued to cry for what felt like hours before she managed to pull herself together again and breathe
