Getting the News

Hiccup and Astrid were very nervous as they waited for Gothi to come to them and examine Astrid, Hiccup had grounded her and not allowed her in any fights, training exercises or flights with him

It really sucked but she knew he was doing it to protect her and his baby,Astrid held Hiccup's hand and rested her head on his shoulder "I really hope it's there" she said placing a hand on her abdomen, Hiccup sighed and kissed her forehead "I do too, but of its not we will try again" he said with a smile

Suddenly the moment was interrupted when Snotlout, the twins, Eret and Fishlegs walked in "what are you guys doing here?" Hiccup said with a smile "we came to see your face when you get the news, it's gonna be hilarious" Snotlout said patting his shoulder and winking at him

Hiccup chuckled and smiled at his cousin "lets hope you did it first try" Eret said, just as he said that Gothi walked in and asked Astrid to step behind the curtain, Astrid stood up and took a deep breath as she walked behind the curtain with Gothi close behind her

"You excited Hiccup?" Fishlegs asked his chief trying not explode with excitement "very....and also a little nervous, way if I failed and she isn't pregnant, she'll be devastated, she has been talking about it for months with me and it could all be for nothing" Hiccup said fiddling with his fingers "it won't all be for nothing Hiccup, you can always try again if it doesn't happen this time" Ruffnut said with a smile

"I hope so"........

/2 Hours Later\

Astrid walked back out the curtain with Gothi behind her who didn't look very happy at all "so?" Hiccup asked "are we having a baby?" Astrid smiled and said "let's not rush him, he's only a few weeks old" she said "IM A DADDY!" Hiccup cheered as he jumped up as hugged his girlfriend

Then Gothi tapped his shoulder and Hiccup looked at her, she pointed her staph at Snotlout the twins and Fishlegs then pointed at the door "do you want them to leave Gothi?" Astrid asked and the old lady nodded "guys could you give us some time, and wait for us in the great hall, we will meet you there" Hiccup said and they all nodded as soon left

"Why did you want them out Gothi?" Hiccup asked, Gothi walked forward and tapped Astrid's belly "it's about the baby?" Gothi nodded and then pointed at Astrid's belly and then at Hiccup

And shook her head....

"What are you saying?" he asked, Gothi sighed and pointed at Astrid's belly then at Hiccup and shook her head again "wait? are you saying that this baby..........isn't mine?" he gasped

Gothi sighed sadly and nodded "w-well, who is the father? do you know" he asked trying not to scream in anger and rage, once again Gothi pointed at Astrid's abdomen, then she pointed at Eret who went wide eyes and filled with fear wen he saw Hiccup's eyes fill with hate and rage

"Do a blood test I want you to be 100% positive about this, and you can't say no" he growled angrily

Gothi sighed and nodded, they all had a sample of blood taken and she set to work finding the father if the baby "why?" Hiccup growled "what?" Astrid said "why did you do it, you know you love me and you sleep with him, or do you actually love me?" he snarled "H-Hiccup, I swear I can explain" Astrid stuttered "explain then" Hiccup growled

"When Gothi said I could lose the baby I became really scared and didn't know what to do, Eret was with me and he was trying to cheer me up then as the night went on we started talking more and soon we..........we slept together, but that still doesn't mean I don't love you Hiccup because I do and. always will love you" she said

This hurt more than the time Stoick died, she felt like her heart was torn out her chest and chewed in front of her

"Then why sleep with him?" Hiccup yelled, Astrid didn't reply, she was so scared at the moment

Then Gobber walked in with his sheep Phill behind him "hey Hiccup what's the......." he stopped wen he saw a furious Hiccup and a terrified Astrid "oh no" he gasped "Gobber, take these two to the great hall, I'm to decide their trial when I get the DNA results" he said, Astrid gasped and her eyes went wide

"Wait you're putting me in trail, for what?" Astrid cried "for commiting adultery and treason to the chief" Hiccup snarled at her "get them out of my sight" he muttered, Gobber then took them out Gothi's hut and began to walk them to the great hall for trial

"What have I done" Astrid sobbed quietly
