                                                        SIRENA'S POV

I slumped on  a chair and greedily gulped the cold water that one of the assisstants on the set had offered me. Sure the set was beautiful and all, but all those lights overhead and lack of windows made it pretty hot. Also we couldn't take a break in between the shots. I had managed to put off the kiss scene, and kept delaying it. Now only that shot was left. I was contemplating telling Derek that I felt ill and running back to the guest house, when Derek shouted through those large speakers, "Ok folks, one last scene for today, and if we get this one we might even be able to get home soon okay?"

Everyone on the set nodded eagerly. I groaned. There was no way I was getting out of it. At least if we got this one shot we wouldn't have to stay back here tonight. I did a menatl little jig at that thought. No more Rogers. Yes!

I dragged my feet as slowly as possible back to the centre of the set. The scene was that I would be running across the corridor from the 'bad guys', when Mark would pull me into this secret passageway and after the guys pass, well, the kiss happens. It's supposed to be all soulfull looking into the eyes and kiss with all your heart.  Puke!

The scene began and I got into the role of my character, Rosa. I ran through the corridors, huffing and puffing, when suddenly Mark pulled me into that passageway. The guys kept running and then Mark looked down at me. He really was tall. I looked into his bright blue eyes. They were like a clear ocean, so pretty. And then he slammed his lips onto mine. the kiss was nothing like the ones between me and Adrien. It wasn't bad, but I didn't feel fireworks and butterflies in my stomach.

I guess that was a good thing. I kissed him pretending he was Adrien.

And then it was over.

"That wasn't so bad was it now?" Mark asked with his signature smirk plastered on his face. I scowled at him and went towards Derek without answering him. He was way too obnoxious for my liking.

"That's a wrap guys. Good job everyone. Guess this means everyone can go home one day early now." Derek said with a grin. Everyone cheered.

"Come on Rina. Let's go home." he said to me.

I got a warm feeling all over when he said home, because that house had really come to be my home.

Derek dropped me off at home and went to the editing place even though it was night by now. Said he had to quickly finish off with those shots we took today.

I reached my room and flopped on the bed with my legs and arms outstretched. Adrien wasn't there. What a bore!

I wasn't feeling sleepy. In fact I was feeling quite restless. So, I decided to go for a run. Carla wasn't home yet. So I wrote a note and left it on the kitchen counter, telling them I was going on a short run.

Little did I know how much that note would help me.

I thought I would stop, but that would have been unfair. So I continue..

I pulled on my running clothes and stepped out of the house. For some reason I had a prickly feeling as though someone was watching me. I shrugged it off.

I began running, first keeping it close to the brightly lit houses, and then I moved onto this large park. Big mistake. There was barely any lighting in the park. I weaved in and out through the trees, when I heard the snap of a twig. Alerted, I looked around.

Nothing. But I wasn't taking any chances. Not after Jayden especially. I ran as fast as I could towards the exit of the park. And this time I heard it clearly. The pounding of feet. One pair of feet. i picked up speed, and so did my pursuer.

Adrenanline drove me to push faster. Finally I could see the exit. Soon I would be near those houses, houses with lights, with people. there I would be safe. Just a bit more.

Then my pursuer latched onto my hand. I let out a squeal of suprise. I tried shrugging off the hand and when it wouldn't come off, I bit him.

That seemed to momentarily stun the guy. It was a guy who had held onto me. I had heard his grunt when I bit his hand. And I could see his short hair in the dark.

Faster and faster I ran towards the park, the guy following me and finally, I was out, and the thudding of footsteps behind me stopped. but I didn't stop running till I reached home.

On the doorstep I rested my hands on my knees and breathed heavily. That was close. Too close.

I was so overcome with relief that I hadn't bothered to look around my surroundings.

Suddenly a large hand gabbed me from the back and a handkerchief was pressed to my face. I struggled and struggled but the drug in the handkerchief was too strong and I felt myself weakening.

"Coward" I thought to myself.

In one last attempt to save myself or at least catch a glimpse of the attacker, I stomped on his foot with whatever little energy I had.

The attacker recovered quickly though and gripped onto me even more tightly, but not before I saw who it was.

Even in my befuddled state I knew who it was.

"You!" I whispered, my voice reflecting the betrayal I felt, before the darkness closed in on me.
