I'm soooo sorry for the long wait!!!!.....But it was my birthday and I got so caught up in having fun that I didn't log on onto wattpad...

SIRENA'S POV

He was back..and my life was going to be hell.

To make matters worse, he was my friggin' partner for the whole darned project, which basically translates as he will be watching my every move and will actually find out everything about me.

What was I thinking? My life could seriously never be good. The best I could do was run away from people I care and save them from all the misery I was putting them in.

Well...I could think about that later. Right now I had to figure out how to get out of this mess. Maybe I could ask Mrs.Gueri to change my partner. But I don't think that woman would agree, considering the fact that she hated every single fiber in my body.

Jayden was walking towards me. Huh! Why would he be coming here?

That's when I looked at the seat next to me and saw that it was the only seat empty in the class.

I looked up and panicked. Jayden was smiling slyly and prowling towards me like I was his prey.

I looked around for help and saw Sky mouthing "Lucky b*tch!" to me.

If only she knew. I looked at Adrien. He had a helpless look, which was masked by the concern flooding his face.

No one could save me. I was alone, as usual.

Jayden reached the seat, flung his bag and sat down, flashing me one of his icy cold, evil smiles.

I shuddered.

"So...How are you doing babe? Long time, no see" Jayden questioned.

I wanted to punch him in the face. He had the NERVE to ask how I was doing.

"Oh, I'm blooming. Just peachy. Perfectly all right since you are, or should I say were, far away from me." I seethed, mustering all the venom I could into that line.

Jayden flinched, but only for the smallest of seconds, "Oh, don't be like that babe. You know you loved it" he retorted.

That was the limit. I couldn't take it anymore. I was broken as it was, and it was taking me a lot to maintain my composure. But when he said I loved it, I lost it.

I got up from my chair swiftly, picked up my stuff, muttered an excuse of medical problems to Mrs.Gueri and ran out of there.

I ran all the way till the girls' washroom, slipped into a stall and slid down.

My carefully built walls were breaking. My mind was in panic overdrive. I couldn't think straight. My heart was thumping against my ribcage, trying to break free.

"He's back. He's back" That was all which was echoing again and again in my head.

I really don't know how I managed to keep my cool for so long in class. I actually answered him back.

The bell rang, signaling the end of the period.

I took deep breaths, calmed myself down to some extent, straightened my shoulders and walked out of the washroom.

Adrien was waiting for me outside. How sweet!

"You okay?" he asked, concerned.

A crowd was going 'Awwww' in my head.

"Yeah..yeah..sure..i'm fine. Just saw an old friend and got a little over-hyper" I answered. I literally had to spit out the word 'friend'.

Adrien didn't look too convinced, but he didn't prod for which I was glad. I don't think I could have handled a flashback into the past.

School was a living nightmare. I tried to keep away as much as I could from Jayden. It was difficult but I managed. I don't know How long I can keep this up. After all he is working on a project with me.

Just as I thought, Jayden came up to me as the school ended and just declared, without asking me, that he was coming over to my place after school in the evening.

"How do you even KNOW where I'm living?" I asked.

"I've been stalking you...Just kidding. I have my contacts." He replied.

His contacts. I shuddered

Could this day get any worse?

I know its pretty short. But I'm not exactly well and this is the best I could come up with.

I'll try writing more as soon as possible....
