Boi Zone

CHAPTER 3

A couple of months pass, and things go back to normal, despite some weirdness at first.

Justin smiles as Daphne walks into the diner.

"Hey!" He says, giving her a 'Sunshine' smile.

He was SO happy to see her as he'd been busy lately, and had missed his best friend's smile.

Although he'd left her several messages on her cell, and with her folks, she had only returned a few, saying she too had been busy with work and stuff too, and that she promised they'd have a movie night soon.

But, another excuse, and another week had passed.

It had seemed to him, she'd been avoiding him these last couple of weeks.

The last time he'd seen her face to face had been at her work.

They had at first, exchanged some heated words, and her calling him a 'full-time Homosexual' had stung a bit.

But, he wanted her to know, it had been much more than just a fuck to him, and sending her an email stating his feeling on the subject, seemed too impersonal.

He'd done 'it' as a 'favor' to her.

So that her first time would be easier, much more special than 'just a fuck' the way Brian had admitted to him he'd only felt for Justin.

Even though deep down, both of them knew the older man had been lying through his pearly whites. Hearing those cowardly, hateful and thoughtless words had singed his heartstrings...

Although she now seems more self assured in some ways, something is up, he can just feel it.

Especially when she doesn't return his grin.

You don't have a best friend and not just know when somethings not quite right.

And from the look in her sad brown eyes he knows.
