~CHAPTER 32~

Remembering well,

Ben Chanders, 'Dad's'  (as he had insisted Justin now call him) baffling 'man to man' chat all about women and pregnant ones to boot,

putting it all down to hormones and her' just being a girl,' Justin shrugs his shoulders and then again closes his eyes.

But, when he hears her muttering loudly to herself, his eyes open and he now finds himself rummaging through his back pack for his graduation gift from his mom.

Pointedly ignoring her, he slips the ear plugs into his ears, then pushes a button on the slim apparatus.

But the Ipod almost falls from his frozen slender fingers as he hears a pretty soulful song that feels like it looked into his mind and read his thoughts.

The words touched him to his core as more than one voice harmonized singing,

All my bags are packed, I'm ready to go

I'm standing here outside your door

I hate to wake you up to say goodbye

But the dawn is breakin' its early morn

The taxi's waiting, he's blowing his horn
