~CHAPTER 54~

Her big, cinnamon-toffee eyes were shiny wet, swimming with un shed tears of fear and 'something' that Justin easily recognized as her, 'resolve' face. 

With just ONE look, as he KNEW her THAT well; and, even though her decision had stung, he briefly closed his eyes before carefully hugging close the crying little boy, comforting him as best he could. 

And he sadly wondered the same, as the tiny, runny-nosed, little blue-eyed blond boy tearfully asked him, 

"Why did Daph do that to us Jus?" But, after wiping off the small, wet face, he hugged his younger self tightly before whispering something into his little pink ear shell.

Suddenly, on the outside he felt, distant, aloof, but inside? 

He was bouncing up and down in glee, for THAT ONE look from her, had held the key to his and Chance's freedom!
