~CHAPTER 26~

'Ah HA!' Ben thought smugly as he now sat back in his comfortable leather chair, and waited for the boy's answer.

Looking around him, he was proud of all that he and Judy had so far accomplished in their young lives.

Seeing both of their PhD College degree's hanging on the wall, along with their many awards, he was content with what they had.

And, when Daphne had come along, they had both been in the prime of their careers, and more than ready for their new addition.

Both he and Judy had taken much pleasure in spoiling her rotten too.

And, why not?

They could afford it.

Ben truly had NO clue as to how a school boy, on a waiters wages AND tips, had even been able to afford a 3 carat pink DIAMOND and from THAT place!?

 'Perhaps he had cashed in his College funds? Or, perhaps Jennifer had helped him?' 

Although he was truly dying to ask the kid, he knew he had already awoke BOTH mama bears inside of his wife AND her VERY over protective BEST friend. 

So, carefully, shrewdly, Ben mentally gathered how to picked his battles...

Justin and Daphne, if they continued in this folly, would soon be learning the hard way, they would barely be able to afford diapers.
