This one has a little bit of everything, some gastina, some lutteo, some simbar but mostly the last two. I hope you guys like this chapter

"Come on, Gastón, you have to compete." Ámbar presses his friend and Matteo rolls his eyes, they've been trying to convince him to participate on the upcoming competition for weeks now but he refuses. "It doesn't have to be with Delfi, you can do it with Jazmín."

"Because that's gonna be less awkward." Gastón mutters sarcastically. "Since you know Jazmín won't pass passive aggressive messages from my ex."

"If worse comes to worse you can always skate with me." Ámbar says and Matteo turns to her surprised. "What? Still not sure you are not gonna ditch me for that little girl."

Matteo sees the small trace of bitterness on Ámbar tone and he feels bad about making her feel like he could ditch her for Luna, especially since they agreed to skate together on this competition long before Luna even arrived to the school.

"I would never." Matteo tells her serious, she is one of his best friends after all.

"Maybe not now." She says, but her tone is laced with mocking now. "But she has talent and you follow her like a puppy, you won't resist her."

"Matteo Balsano follows no one." He says, raising his head, he can't believe her words.

"Let's see." Ámbar mutters with a small teasing smile and when Matteo follows her eyes he sees Luna walking with Nina. Matteo looks back at Ámbar who is raising her eyebrows at him and Matteo resists the need to go talk with the small brunette.

"I bet you he won't last until she leaves." Gastón laughs and Ámbar smiles at him.

"I won't bet against that." Ámbar says. "I'm not stupid."

"I'm here guys." Matteo says, crossing his arms around her chest.

"And that little girl is looking at you." Ámbar throws and Matteo instantly turns to look at Luna, who is supporting herself against a wall while talking to Nina and not looking at him at all. Matteo glares at Ámbar, who laughs loudly along Gastón.

"Come on." Gastón says patting Matteo shoulder. " I will give you an excuse to talk to her that will keep your ego intact, I want to give Nina her book back anyway."

"Wait." Ámbar stops them. "Her book?"

"Yes,I borrowed one of her books the other day." Gastón shrugs. "I'm done with it so I should probably return it. You coming?"

Ámbar looks at both girls up and down with a vague expression of disgust and just shakes her head. Matteo looks at her, doubting on letting her alone but she just raises an eyebrow at him and point in Luna's direction with her chin. Matteo shrugs and goes, but he can't shake the feeling that there's something wrong with her.

"What's up, munchkin?" Matteo greets when Luna's eyes find his. He relishes on the small smile that tugs the corners of her mouth despite the fact she tries to fight it. "Nina."

Nina smiles shyly at both of them, obviously confused as to why they are here.

"Hi, Nina,Luna.." Gastón greets fishing the book out of his backpack. "I just came to return your book, I bet you miss it."

Nina just smiles at Gastón and takes the book on her hands.

"I made some notes on the margin and on sticky notes, I hope you don't mind." Gastón tells her and Matteo rolls his eyes at his nerdiness, Luna catches him doing it and shakes her head at him with a small smile, he smirks in return and she rolls her eyes at him.
