"Yes" she smiled brightly tackling me with a hug and a kiss

We had been living together for about a month now. We were going to the doctors office.

"Okay I need you to pee in this cup" the nurse said

"Okay"

She peed in the cup, then a few minutes later the nurse came in

"Umm you guys aren't pregnant, the home test must have just not worked" she said

"Oh my gosh!" I said with some relief

I looked at Aurora and she seemed happy but sad. I planted a wet kiss on her cheek making her giggle. "Are you happy? Or sad?" I asked

"I'm relieved but a little disappointed. It's okay" she smiled "I'll have kids later, in the future" she smiled even bigger "all I need right now is you"

"Good!" I said kissing her again.

"I love you" she smiled

"I love you too" I said grabbing her hand.

"Good." She smiled we walked out to my truck.

"Ready to go home?" I asked.

"Yea." She nodded.

"Okay." I said we drove home in silence. "Are you sure you're okay?" I asked.

She nodded. "It's weird. I was so in love with something that ended up not even excising."

"I know." I said.

"It's okay though, really I mean I'd much rather this than lose the baby or have to put it up for adoption or something. Even though I would have loved the baby... This Is the best alternative. I'm not ready to be a mom, and you aren't ready to be a dad." She said.

"I know." I said again. "I love you Aurora."

"I love you hunter." She said.

"C'mon." I said getting out of the car. And she followed.
