I'm sitting in Anteiku going over the research notes when the little bell over the door rings. I looked up to see a mother with brown hair tied off to the side. She was holding the hand of a girl with short brown hair who looked to be about 14. I heard Touka address the mother as Ryuoko and the daughter as Hinami.
I used to babysit a girl named Hinami, I wonder if it's the same girl. I thought as I tapped my pencil on my chin. Hinami looked over at me and her eyes lit up.
"Akemi!" She squealed as she ran over to me and gave me a big hug. Definitely the same Hinami.
"You've grown a lot since I last saw you." I smiled ruffling her hair.
"Yeah I have." She smiled standing on her toes.
"Hinami." Ryuoko called as she stood by the door leading upstairs.
"I gotta go now, I hope I see you again soon." Hinami waved as she ran to join her mom.
This was a bit of a filler chapter so yeah XD
