Revenge Pt. 1

Warning feels

The rain hit the sidewalk as crowds of people made their way their way through the street. I was walking to anteiku to meet up with Kaneki.

It's really coming down, thankfully I have my umbrella. I thought to myself.

"Someone please help me!" I stopped walking and looked across the street, Hinami was running down the sidewalk.

"Hinami!" I called out to her. I dropped my umbrella and ran across the street, being careful not to get hit by any cars.

"Hinami, what's wrong?" I asked.

"It's momma, she needs help." She hugged me crying.

"Where is she?" Hinami rubbed her eyes and grabbed my hand pulling me along with her. Moments later we reached an alley. We hid around the corner, I saw two ccg agents standing in front of Ryuoko who was kneeling on the ground.

I covered Hinami's eyes to protect her from anything that was about to happen.
I heard her crying softly. My eyes widened as the scene before me unfolded.

I could only watch as the agents killed Ryuoko.

--------------Short Time Skip-------------I carried Hinami on my back to anteiku when I walked in Touka was the only one there.

"Touka, I need to talk to you about something." Touka tilted her head to one side. 'It's Hinami' I mouthed. Touka nodded.

"I'll just take her upstairs. Luckily Hinami was sleeping and couldn't hear what we were saying. Touka took Hinami off my back and carried her upstairs. I sat at one of the tables and waited for Touka to come back down. When she did she sat across from me.

"What did you want to tell me?" She asked. I sighed.

"It's her mom...." I look down at the table.

"What happened to her?" Touka asked. I could tell she was both sad and angry. Tears started to form in my eyes.

"I'm sorry I couldn't do anything but protect Hinami and now her mom is gone and I stood there and let it happen."

"Was it them who did it?" Touka asked clenching her fist. I looked up and nodded.

"Dammit!" Touka banged her fist on the table.

"They will pay for killing her." Touka said through gritted teeth.

"What are you going to do?" I asked hoping she won't do anything too rash. Touka sighed.

"It's best if you don't know." I nodded, she was right it's not a good idea for me to try and help fix their problems.
