Cross:Chapter-5:Xavier

I woke up the next morning and looked at Dedrict and gently kissed his cheek and his eyes fluttered open and he looked at me.

"Good morning Angel". He smiled and sat up and stretched.

"Good morning Dedrict". I smiled and got up and got dressed. I looked at Dedrict .

"Are you getting up ?". I smiled .

"Yep". He got up and went into the bathroom and got changed . He came out and smiled.

"Let's go eat ". He said and went downstairs.

I followed him and sat down at the table .

He made some eggs and bacon and put it on a plate and gave it to me.

"Thanks Dedrict". I smiled and ate .

"No problem". He sat down and ate.

I finished and put my plate in the sink and Dedrict did the same.

"We better get going or were going to be late".He said and grabbed his coat and put on his shoes and grabbed his bag,

"Your right". I put my shoes and coat on and grabbed my bag and the keys and we went out the door and I locked it.

We walked to school holding hands and we got there and went to our lockers and I said goodbye to Dedrict.

I went to my locker and grabbed my books, But then I noticed someone at the principles office.

I walked in front of it and stopped,I couldn't believe who was standing in front of me .

It was Xavier Andrews ,my old childhood friend . We were separated when I moved .

"Angel?". He looked at me.

"Xavier?".I looked back.

"Is it really you?". He hugged me tightly .

I hugged him back.

"It's really is me ". I smiled brightly .

"So this is where you moved too". He smiled that same goofy smile as always .

"Yep". I smiled.

"I actually have to tell you something ".He looked at me.

"Oh okay". I smiled.

"Can we talk privately?". He asked me. 

"Yeah of course". I said and followed him to a private area around the corner of the school.

"Okay,Angel the reason I came back was because of you, I've had a huge crush on you since we first met and I came back here to be with you". He said smiling, I could hear the hope in his voice.

"Xavier, I'm flattered but,I'm with someone and i'm really happy". I said hoping he would understand.

"What do you mean?, Angel I came back here for you because I love you ". He said getting closer to me. My back hit the wall . 

"Xavier i'm sorry-

I was cut off by Xavier's lips on mine. I couldn't move he had a grip on me. 

Dedrict walked around the corner and saw me and Xavier and he ran over to him and pulled him off of me.

"Get off my girlfriend". He stood in front of me protectively. 

Xavier looked at Dedrict with a death glare and pulled out a silver dagger and lunged at Dedrict.

"STOP IT BOTH OF YOU". I moved in between the two of them and looked at Xavier. 

Xavier backed off looking at me with wide eyes, And then he looked at Dedrict. 

"Angel, can't you sense it?". Dedrict looked at me.

"Sense what ?". I asked confused.

"Angel he's a hunter, A vampire hunter". Dedrict said and stood in front of me. 

" I can smell it". He said looking at Xavier like he was going to rip him to shreds.

"Xavier, Is this true?". I looked at him .

"Yes Angel it's true i'm a hunter I came back here to protect you from their kind". He said putting his dagger away.

I looked at him with wide eyes and just stood there.
