Torrance's P.O.V.

I don't know what the hell had gotten into India lately but I was just tryin' to ignore it. I kno she was stressed out about not having her car for the moment so I'm guessing that's what it was.

I was trying my hardest to go outta my way to make sure that I could brighten her day in whatever way that I could. I made it my mission to be more affectionate to her than I had to.

She seemed extra dry than normal this morning when I was textin her though. She was prolly just pissed because I couldn't pick her up this morning like I've usually been doin. My baby too spoiled for her own damn good.

I had a meeting with my coach this morning before a.m. practice because he was tellin me that there were a lot of NBA scout's peepin me out. I never told India because I wanted it to be a surprise. If everything worked out then she ain't have to worry about nothing else. I loved India and one day I planned on makin her my wife.

But for now she would just have to stop bein a brat when things ain't go her way.

Heaven's P.O.V.

As soon as I pulled my car into the school's parking lot I was already feeling drained.

"Here goes nothing" I sighed as I gathered my things and stepped into the parking lot.

"What's up Heaven?" I heard as I looked over my shoulder seeing DeAndre tryna catch up to me.

"Shit." I breathed out barely above a whisper. "Wassup?" I spoke with my eyes still focused on my destination ahead of me.

"Where ya been? I haven't heard from you damn near all summer long?".

That's how i'd like to keep it, I thought in my head.

"Oh yea, been really busy. You know looking into colleges and all." That was a lie. I knew exactly what school I would be attending. Deandre ain't need to know all that though. Hell he'd prolly try to follow me there for all I kno.

"I guess.. So how bout you make it up to me later? We could-" he tried to get out his statement before he was cut off by the bell.

"Catch ya later" I yelled out over my shoulder as I jogged into the building.

You know how they say senior itis kicks in towards the end of the year? Well that was a load of bullshit in my case. If you asked me it started now because I was ready to get this year over as quickly as possible.

Times like this I couldn't help but to think I was weird. Unfortunately, I didn't give a damn. The day passed by slower than I imagined it would.

I seriously found myself fighting to stay awake in damn near every class. That was until I made it to my last. Lass of the day.

I spotted him as soon as I lazily waltzed into my Senior AP English class.

"What the hell" I spoke more to myself than anyone else.

What is he doing here?

Are my eyes playin a trick on me?

Had I become so indulged in this guys looks that I had started to see him appear places he shouldn't be?

I was snapped out of thoughts by the bell obnoxiously ringing once again, signaling the start of the final period of the day. I quickly sat as Mr. Felton began class.

James.

He was at my school.

He was actually in my class.

He was sittin two seats away from me.

Senior year just got way more interesting.

Sorry it's been awhile guys. I've been really focused on my other story on my other page.

This was just a quick filler chapter.

Bare with me & I'll be sure not to dissappoint. Thanks for reading.
