I pick at my food with my fork as I'm not in the mood for spaghetti. I'm not in the mood for food at all. I bend backward and then see Jason sitting next to Makenna Leverage. Her brown hair goes a little past her shoulders, and she wears these ugly, fake glasses. They're way too big for her face, but she wears them anyway. It's so annoying how she thinks that it's cute, but it's not. She always wears these neon pink converses too. She's always seemed too girly for Jason if you ask me. But he likes her anyway. But, doesn't that mean that he lied to me about not wanting anyone?

"Hey, your food okay?" Margo asks me as I look to my right. Margo is a girlfriend of mine that's shorter than most. She has brown, greenish eyes, brown hair that's perfectly straight from hours of straightening, and perfect tan skin. She's like the coolest person I know since she's left school for weeks at a time to go on vacation with her parents.

"Yeah, I'm fine I guess," I say putting down my fork and sighing as Margo continues to eat her spaghetti. "You wouldn't understand anyway," I say as she rolls her eyes.

"More boy problems?" She asks as I nod and then she shakes her head. "Then you're right. I wouldn't understand. It's all you." She says making me sigh and then shove my plastic tray away from me.

"I can't believe out of all the girls he chose Makenna Leverage," I say feeling like I have been betrayed and tossed to the side for no reason. Thrown out into the cold weather to freeze to death.

"Who did you expect he'd chose?" Margo asks me for making me start to think. I should've known he wouldn't like the nerd. The girl who has perfect grades and is a total good girl because of how her family treats her when she doesn't do good.

"I don't know," I admit in a low tone of disgust. Margo raises both of her brows as if to say 'you don't say?'

"Do you want my food? I'm not going to eat it." I ask her as she shakes her head.

"Nah, I'm full. You can ask someone else though." She replies as she points behind me. I turn around and see Jason. What does he want?

"Yeah?" I ask as he rubs the back of his neck nervously.

"Hey, about earlier. Are you okay? I feel kind of bad for some reason." He explains as if he doesn't understand his own emotions.

"Well, I'm fine, I just didn't want to sit next to you... because you have a girlfriend now. That's all you care about. Is her." I say looking at the ground as I want to start crying again. I don't want to talk to him. I don't want him to speak to me either. I want him to just go away and never talk to me again.

"You just seemed upset, and it looks like you're upset again." He says showing off my emotions to everyone around us.

"Jason Boore! Sit at your table!" Mr. Brown says making Jason roll his eyes.

"See you in art." He says as he walks away towards his table.

"You were real sly Paige," Margo says making me groan.
