We made it to her office that's actually really small. She has a very tall bookshelf filled with books in different languages. Then she has a small desktop while her desk is covered and filled with papers, pens, pencils, stamps, and more paper.

"Now, I don't do this often. So, don't go around telling thousands of people I took you out of class so you could talk about your feelings." She says as she clicks on some stuff on her computer. I wasn't planning on it because I don't have many friends anyway, I only like four at the most. Mostly just Brooklyn, she's my only real friend here.

"Okay, I won't," I say as silence then fills the room and tension starts thriving in the place.

"You may start," She says as she continues to do things on her computer.

"Oh, okay, well, it all started when I started to fall in love with this boy- "

"What's his name?" Mrs. Cooper asks me, letting me know that she's probably putting this on record.

"Jason, Jason Boore," I say pausing as she nods. "I started talking to him and waving to him and making conversations every day, and then it just went downhill from there. I gave him my number, and he started texting me saying that he wanted me to sit at his table... So, I did. Then his ex, Makenna Leverage came over and started calling me fat and a slut and other mean names that I don't want to repeat." I say making her nod. I gulp thinking that she's probably looking up Makenna and Jason.

...

I told her everything. Every little piece of information that I could grasp and she sat there and listened to me. But, the bell for school ending came, and she dismissed me.

"If you ever need to talk about anything Miss. Newsworth, then you come and tell me." She says as I nod and tell her goodbye as I leave the office.

As I get to the car riders, I see Jason standing there looking all nervous. I can't help myself. I walk up to him and look him up and down. His posture is slanted and looks vulnerable. He seems like a lost puppy that was cast in the rain.

"Jason... Are you okay?" I ask him as he looks up at me and smiles as he hugs me tightly.

"Paige! I'm so sorry that I couldn't see that you wanted me to ask you out. So, now I'm not going to be that stupid. Would you like to go out with me? You can go to the dance with me too." He says as I smile and blush darkly as I hug him back. His hugs are so warm and calming. I've wanted a hug since the first day I started falling head over heels in love with him. But, I can't tell him yes... Can I?
