The dance is soon. It is on May 10th, and now I don't have anyone to go with me. Officially, I'm single. I don't want to go if I don't have someone there with me who I'm dating.
"Jason!" I say then running after him like he wants me to.
"Yeah?" He says as he turns around and then looks to me. I hug him tightly.
"Just don't cheat on me again!" I say shoving my head into his shoulder. He hugs me back just as tight as he sighs.
"I'm sorry, that wasn't meant to happen. I'll stay away from her if that makes you feel better." He says as we stop hugging. He then rubs the back of his neck nervously.
"No, you can hang out with whoever you want. I'm not going to control you, that's not right. Just, whoever you hang out with should just be a friend, not a sidechick," I explain as he nods, understanding as he then shyly smiles at me. I smile back as he looks at the ground, breaking our eye contact.
"Alright, I probably won't be around her anymore. She's useless to me anyway." He replies as I nod and then look at the ground.
"See you at lunch,"
