This is a very sugary sweet chapter, a little extra for making you guys wait so long, bridesmaids dresses on the side>>>

You'll have to wait till the wedding to see Quinn's dress, but it's not hard to imagine

Chapter 6

“No heels” I groaned

“You are wearing heels, it’s a wedding for god sake, you can’t show up in biker boots!” retaliated Bre in front of my, her long red hair swishing back and forth against her black shirt and almost reaching her blue jeans

“Liv come on!”

The blonde girl in a button up shirt, rolled to the elbow and black jeans smiled at me over her shoulder “I’m with Bre on this one, you’re wearing heels, you only get one wedding”

“I wore heels at my wedding” smiled Abbey, wrapping her arms around my shoulder, knee length nude colored dress fluttering against her and me “It’s only for one day, we can get you flats for the reception”

“That’ll be fine” smiled Bre pulling open the door of a dress shop in the high streets of Sydney “Right now; we aren’t focusing on the shoes though”

“Dress time” squealed Liv, grabbing my hand and steering me through the door and standing me in the middle of a room covered in racks of white dresses

“Whoa” I muttered

“You okay?” whispered Abbey

I nodded dumbly “Over whelming”

“It’ll blow over, don’t get cold feet now”

“Quinn, you have to get this” gasped Bre from the other end of the room

We turned to see her holding an ugly blue dress with a slim waist and a puffy tail, netting fluttered out from underneath it and swished around as Bre held it to her body and trotted around

“You look like a fish” I giggled

Bre stopped, turned around like a model and stared at herself in the mirror “I do don’t I”

“Yes” Liv said, taking the dress off her and putting it back on the rack “How about something like this?”

Liv held up a red fluttery dress that came to about mid thigh

I tilted my head to the side “It’s cute but I thought you guys said the flowers were yellow”

Abbey nodded and took the dress from her “It is darling”

“But we can’t change the flowers” sighed Liv turning back to the rack “So where looking for a grey colour”

“Grey?” I asked

Bre nodded and skipped over to the other rack “Grey”

“Since when did we decide on grey?”

“Don’t worry about it love” said Abbey moving behind Liv to the third rack “It’ll go with the flowers”

I pulled out my phone and dialed Reece’s number

“Hello?” he answered

“Babe, I have no idea what’s going on” I whispered

“You okay?”

“Yeah, the girls are all looking at dresses for the bridesmaids and Liv’s talking about flowers being yellow and dresses being grey and I’m so confused, I don’t think they even realize I’m on the phone, there so busy basically ignoring me”

“Not ignoring you” said Bre “Just sorting stuff out”

“Hear that” said Reece “There not ignoring you, just grab a drink and sit back, you’re worrying about this babe, I don’t want you to freak out at the idea of marrying me”

“It’s not the idea of marrying you; it’s the fact that I have to have a wedding”

“We could go to Vegas”

“Tell Reece no Vegas” shouted Liv from somewhere behind the dresses

“Damn” he hissed “How does she know”

“She’s your sister” I laughed

“True, look babe, just calm down and when you get home we’ll get drunk, talk about how nervous we are and go to bed yeah?”

“Okay”

“Love you”

“Love you too, bye” I hung up and made my way for the bottle of Champagne Bre had requested for the day

“How about this one Quinn?”

I turned around, finishing off my first glass of alcohol and looked at the dress all three girls where holding against their figures

It was a matte silver, almost white colour, smooth material hugging the body down just above the knee, it slung up around one shoulder with a ripple of pulled material on the strap, a silk silver sash around the waist

“And these” added Liv, holding out a pair of grey matte heels, with a small strap at the ankle and room for the toes to peep through at the front

“Wow” I whispered

The girls smiled and Abbey grabbed all three dresses and the shoes

“And we found this too” smiled Bre pulling a white gown off the rack behind them, Liv knelt down and spread out the bottom of the dress as Bre held the top

It was white, pure, crisp, clean, white and that’s all it was, it was fitted around the hips and breasts, netting was under the skirt giving it the effect that made it flow off from the hips, it was strapless with a small fold of material at the very top and that was the only feature on the dress

It was plain but it was beautiful

“I- I-“I opened my mouth but nothing came out

They smiled again “Try it on”

So I did, it fit perfectly, fell straight to my ankles, didn’t pinch, didn’t bunch, didn’t crease in the wrong places

It was absolutely perfect

I stepped out of the change room and they gushed over me

“You look gorgeous” smiled Bre

“Stunning” agreed Liv

“So grown up” cried Abbey, tears welling in her eyes

I smiled back at all three of them and laughed “I feel like I should be crying”

They all laughed and hugged me

Bre wrapped my hair around her fingers “You need to grow your hair out, it’s growing pretty fast, some long curls will make this look beautiful”

I turned to look in the mirror, noticing that my shoulder length blonde hair was growing at a rapid rate and was currently just touching the top of my shoulder blades

“You’ll look gorgeous babe, we’ll take care of everything” smiled Liv over my shoulder

“I trust you guys” I smiled “That’s why you’re my bridesmaids”

We all smiled and I stared at myself in the mirror

I looked so weird in a white dress but then I remembered why I was in this dress

I was going to wear this dress to marry the man that I love

That thought really made me smile

AWWWWWWWW :) Leave some love for the fluff :P
