Chapter 30
“Let’s get a photo with all the sisters”
We were currently getting photos – as wedding tradition – and my face was hurting from smiling so much. So far we’d had the couple photo, the photo with the mother and father-in-law – Just Reece’s parents – the photo with Abbey and Rick – acting as Reece’s Mother and Father-in-law – a photo with Edan, each of Reece’s sisters, all of Reece’s sisters, Reece had taken his photo parents, his sisters, his parents and his sisters, his best men, his mates and the bridesmaids. I was currently getting a photo with Reece’s sisters and Abbey.
“Honey” said the photographer pointing at Pip, “Can you move just to the left for me please?”
I placed my hand on her shoulder as she stepped left and I brought her into me so she was standing up against me, her head leaning back on my stomach. Liv was standing next to me with Georgie in front of her like Pip was with me, only slightly to the side to accustom her height in the photo.
“That’s perfect girls” he smiled, looking back through the camera “Smile!”
The flash went off quickly and repeated for the next few minutes before he pulled away and smiled again “Thanks girls, can I have the other 2 bride’s maids up please?”
Bre and Abbey stepped up onto the platform we were on and arranged themselves next to Liv and I and we all smiled again for the camera.
“Beautiful girls, now just the bride’s maids”
Pip and Georgie disappeared and more photos were taken, then again with each of the girls separately, then again with the whole Mastin family, then again with Deb and Darren, then again with the groomsmen and finally with all of my friends with Reece by my side.
He kissed me gently and smiled “All good babe?”
I nodded “Starting to get tired of smiling”
He laughed “You look cute when you smile”
I rolled my eyes and took my flowers as Liv handed them too me and stepped off the platform with Reece.
“I need better shoes” I groaned, lifting up my dress and looking down at the little heels “These things annoy me”
“Here” said Bre, handing me a pair of white flats as she walked past “Hope they fit”
I took the shoes and propping myself on Reece so I didn’t fall, I changed from my heels to the flats, instantly sighing at the feelings of not having my toes squished into the pointy heels.
“Much better” I smiled, putting my heels down on the chair near-by and looking up with Reece “We have to go down to the reception now?”
“Yeah” he smiled
“Quinn” said Abbey, “bob down and give me two seconds”
I bobbed down quickly and Abbey fiddled around with my hair before pulling me back up to standing height and she smiled.
“Perfect”
I frowned at her and reached back to touch my hair, fingers meeting a soft flower rather than a string veil. I looked back quickly in a near-by mirror and noticed the large white rose she had attached to my hair, pinning back two sides and letting my curls underneath fall down my back like the girls had their hair done.
